Today was Daddy Day, spending time with Bodhi and Buddha, and anticipating maybe moving some things to our new house. We didn’t get to the moving part, but we are all doing a lot of preparing to move (especially Mommy who has been doing most of the packing). We are so very much looking forward to getting the key to the house and taking the two of you over there and let Bodhi pick out her bedroom.
Though we always have fun together, today was very much focused on poor Buddha who has a respiratory infection of some kind and is noticeably wheezing, indeed when you tried to eat breakfast and lunch today you kept gagging because you simply cannot eat and breathe at the same time. It breaks Mommy and Daddy’s hearts to witness you suffer little man!
Mommy and daddy got the two of you to bed easily tonight, because the both of you are not totally up to par, we’re wanting the two of you to get plenty of rest in anticipation of a busy weekend!
Mommy and Daddy had additional frustrations, though not as important as the two of you feeling under the weather, in attempting to get Mommy a new driver’s license. It was short, barely, of unbelievable trying to navigate the bureaucracy of the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles; one is truly left to give thanks that Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels elected to not bid for the United States presidency…wow, had that happened and he was elected, our nation would be in much worse shape than it obviously is already. We realize you are quite young, Bodhi, but we sat down with you this evening and explained that you should never expect common sense and common decency to coexist with a bureaucratic setting. Needless to say, we will have to attempt to get Mommy’s driver’s license residence address changed on another day…
Let’s all end the day on a positive note and remain hopeful that tomorrow we may get the key to our house and begin an adventure of our new lives togetherJ. Love you stinkerbutt and stinkerbell, get some sleep and dream dreams of happiness and sugarplums and feeling good and being showered with love from your Mommy and Daddy, and moving to a new home that the two of you are going to be crazy aboutJJJ!!!
PS Daddy failed to mention… Bodhi you are talking up a storm, asking for things and you are growing as a loving big sister. You were very sympathetic to Bubba this evening, since he wasn’t feeling too well. It’s hard to gauge with Bubba because he’s always so darn happy. Anyway, you split your “Nanna” in half and said “here Bubba have a nanna!” You then gave Bubba several hugs and kisses J You sweet little thing you! You are such a good big sis!
