A Mellow Brick Road...: Hugs and Kisses Through It All

Buddha, Daddy got you into the doctor at 10am this morning. You have a sinus infection! The nurse practitioner prescribed you an antibiotic and gave you your follow-up flu shot. Daddy went and picked up your medicine before he went to work. Bodhi, GiGi stayed with you and played while Daddy and Jude were at the doctor's office. Daddy reports that Jude was calling out for you while at the doctor's office, Bodhi... "Bo Bo!" "Bo Bo!" He wanted his sissy-poo :) Mommy worked this morning and returned home in time to put you both down for your afternoon nap. You two slept and slept and slept, 1pm to about 5pm. Buddha, you woke up at like 2pm, an hour after laying you down, but Mommy held off a few minutes before getting you up and you ended up falling back to sleep. When you finally woke up again, Mommy woke Bo up too. We came downstairs where you two played while I fixed baked fish, baked potatoes, and orange slices for dessert. You both ate all of your dinner and neither of you said you wanted more. However, when Mommy started eating her dinner, Bodhi, you decided you wanted Mommy's too. Buddha you were full and didn't eat anything else. After dinner Mommy had planned for us all to play together, but that didn't pan out, seems how Buddha decided to knock over all three Christmas trees. Ornaments were broken into a million pieces all over the floor. Buddha, luckily you weren't hurt, but it scared you real bad. You were screaming. Mommy got you both out of the mess and proceeded to sweep up the remains ;/

Daddy arrived home and received some bad news from a friend. A mutual good friend of Daddy's had a stroke. He's in the hospital and Daddy is worried about him of course. Daddy ate his dinner, and Bodhi, you decided to eat most of Daddy's fish too hee/hee Buddha, Mommy took you off to bed. Mommy doped you up with all your usual meds; allergy medicine, gummy vitamins, and tylenol, plus your antibiotic. Mommy then rocked you to sleep. Well, you don't fall completely asleep, Mommy just gets you relaxed. It's our new night time routine since moving here, and Mommy loves it! After spending the day with you, constantly repeating "no no," and "one, two, three," Mommy loves to reconnect with you before bedtime in a positive manner hee/hee Mommy rubs your back as you lay against my chest and you pat Mommy's arm :) You are such a sweet boy, even if you are ornery little booger! Bodhi, you also love your night time, individual time with Momma and Daddy. As I write this, you keep running in here trying to get me to come hold you. So, Mommy will wait to add the day's pictures and have some snuggle time with you before you head off to dreamland. Love you both so much, sweet dreams!
