Missing Da da!

Daddy didn't want to start his day this morning... he was dreading a long day followed by a college field trip that would last until late late tonight.  Mommy didn't have the heart to tell you two that you wouldn't be seeing Daddy today or this evening, so I started thinking of what Mommy could do with you both while Daddy was away on his adventure.

You both had a great day at Aunt Ti's again.  You both were very sleepy and tried nodding off near lunch time.  Buddha, you wore your Aunt Ti out!  She said you are something else... into everything!!!  Mommy picked you both up and you two fell asleep in the car as Mommy and Aunt Ti were talking in the drive.  Mommy rushed home and carried you both inside and placed you each in your beds.  Bo, the car ride was just the power nap you needed.  You ended up waking up, talking, giggling and carrying on for a good hour and a half before falling asleep.  Buddha, you woke an hour and a half after being laid down, but Mommy got you right back to sleep.  After you two awakened, Mommy got real tired real quick.  So, Mommy laid on the floor in your guy's room while you two played.  Bo, you are becoming quite the little Mommy!  You were very watchful of Bubba while Momma was dosing off, you would tell Bubba, "Bubba no no," and then come tap Mommy on the shoulder and point at Bubba.   He was trying to climb the bookcase like Spider Man!  Mommy decided this was not the fun evening I had originally planned for us, so Mommy took you both downstairs and made you both dinner.  You two pigged out and had fun feeding yourselves as Mommy cleaned up the cooking mess.  Afterwards, Mommy sacked up the recyclables and got you two bundled up for a wagon ride to the recycle bins.  You two were super excited about going outside in the dark :)  Mommy then pulled you guys around Kokomo Beach and through the neighborhood.  You two really enjoyed our evening walk together.

After our walk, Mommy started chasing you two around the house.  You two were laughing and carrying on.  You both loved to be chased.  Buddha, you, unlike your sister, when you know you are about to be captured, you turn and face Momma and run towards Momma like a bull!  It's so funny!  Bodhi, you run, crawl, scream, and kick, trying to get away from Momma.

Mommy had to call Grandmoo to see if she was available to come visit you two while Mommy made an unannounced drop-in visit for work.  Grandmoo was excited because she was about to call to see if it was too late to come over and see you both, and she had figured, you Buddha were in bed.  As soon as she arrived, you two had her chase you around the house.  Buddha, apparently this worked out a major "up the back" poo diaper!  Grandmoo said she was in a mess, but you, Bodhi, ran and grabbed a ton of baby wipes and a fresh diaper for Grandmoo, who was in the kitchen trying to contain the poo hee/hee  When Momma arrived back home, I got you two in your jammies and Buddha you were ready for "night night."  You fell right asleep :)  Bodhi, you had a special Friday night treat and stayed up with Mommy to watch "Wonder Pets!"  Mommy let you have one of your Halloween Hershey candy bars.  You are so cute... you said "Mmmmm Momma."  However, the candy bar wasn't enough of a distraction because you started asking where "Da Da" was?"  This morning you had told Daddy you were a "Mommy's girl!"  It was the first time when asked if you were a "Daddy's girl," you actually said "No! I'm a Momma's girl."  A whole complete sentence.  However, tonight Mommy said "I love you," and you responded with "No, Momma, Daddy's girl."  Mommy of course had to text Daddy and tell him!  Bodhi, you are growing up so much :(  You are such a sweet little helper girl.  You are becoming so affectionate with Momma and especially Bubba.  This is a welcome change from the "if you're not my Daddy, I don't want anything to do with you" attitude, that you've had for the past two years hee/hee  Buddha, you are calling everyone, but Bo Bo, "Da da."  I don't know what is up with this.  You use to say Momma, GiGi, and Moo, but now you walk up to us and say "Da da."  And NO, it's because you want your Da da, because Momma is your world right now hee/hee  Sweet dreams baby butts, you'll get to see your Da Da tomorrow!

Buddha and Bodhi... the recycling Babes :)

You both loved your evening walk with Momma :)
