Today, Mommy woke up excited to take you two to vote... Bodhi, you had voted with Mommy and Daddy in the past, but Buddha, this was your first election. We were on our way to vote as soon as Ms. Connie and Ms. Heather finsihed with your Speech Therapy session, Bodhi. Grandmoo decided to accompany us since Daddy was at work. We all packed in the car and went to our local polling location. Grandmoo discovered she never changed her address and was instructed to go to another polling location. Bodhi, you were most interested in running around, show boating for all the people working the polls. You were running around the basketball court at Pettit Park elementary school like a mad woman! Buddha, you were on Momma's hip the entire time. You got to watch Momma connect the arrows, and you tried to grab the marker from Momma's hand to chew on it hee/hee That is all you think about, "what can I put in my mouth next?" Bodhi, Mommy managed to hold your attention long enough to get you to place Mommy's ballot in the counting machine. You were so funny, you didn't expect the machine to suck the paper up! You jumped back and then studied it from a distance, as if you were waiting on it to spit the ballot back out. After Mommy was done, we headed to Wallace school so that Grandmoo could change her address and place her votes. Once Grandmoo finished we then stopped off and bought you two a candy bar to share. Buddha, you tried going to sleep in the car, Grandmoo and Bodhi kept you awake. We all got a good laugh from waking you every 30 seconds as you nodded off.
Once home, Grandmoo and Mommy played with you and your fuzzy brothers out back. After you, Buddha, stepped and rolled in dog poo, Mommy took you both inside, cleaned you both up, and put you each down for your naps. WE all took a nice long afternoon nap. Daddy apparently thought Momma had forgotten it was election day, because he rushed home after calling Mommy's cell phone over and over, to remind Mommy to go vote. Mommy told him we were on it!
GiGi came over to visit you two for a few minutes after you woke from your naps. Mommy then took you both out to pick up dinner. We had potato soup from Windmill Grill. We also picked Daddy up a fish dinner, for when he finally returned home from work at 8pm.
Bodhi and Buddha, you two were so loving and affectionate this evening. Bodhi, you told Mommy "I love you Momma," three times! We played, and Mommy let you two have run of the house and boy did you both make messes everywhere. Mommy then couldn't take it and started cleaning. You two got out your cleaning supplies and helped Momma clean. You both actually do an exceptional cleaning job, especially for your ages. Buddha, you took baby wipes and wiped down the front door windows, Bodhi, you picked up toys and mopped with your little mop :) You both took breaks to dance to the "Fresh Beat Band," OF COURSE! Once Daddy came home and settled in with you both, Mommy headed to work for an hour. Now you both are sleeping, hopefully having sweet sweet baby dreams. Sweet Dreams my little munchkins!
Mommy didn't get any pictures of you two voting today :( It was too hectic!
