Our First New Home Holiday Tradition!

Today began with some disappointment, as we all hoped to go to Vincennes and join Grandma Betty and Aunt Debbie and Aunt Terrie at Aunt Diane's house for a holiday dinner. We just couldn't make it work, Jude has been suffering from a terrible cold (Aunt Diane, a pediatrics intensive care nurse is convinced he has a sinus infection and needs to go to the doctor!) and we have so much work to do at the house, plus Grandmoo was horribly sick and couldn't come see to Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo,  and in preparation of the approaching work week that we just had to put our visit on hold until Christmas.

We quickly bounced back from disappointment though, as we all went out to lunch at Mommy's favorite tenderloin sandwich cafe (Louie's Coney Island). Afterwards, the two of you went down for naps Bodhi and Buddha, and Mommy made off to make incredible deals on an antiqued table for your tv Bodhi, and an incredible, super deal on your outdoor playhouse "cottage."

We later went out to Sam's Club and got home in time to walk over to the Seiberling Mansion for the Christmas Tree/Santa Arrival ceremony, and we rode in a horse drawn carriage which goes right by our new home (with Mommy's beautiful Christmas decorations lit up) and both you Bodhi and Buddha absolutely loved the horse/carriage ride!

By the time we made it home, we were all worn out as has been common these past many days, and so we made our way to our beautiful bedrooms in our beautiful home, and gave thanks for our many, many blessings. Bodhi, Mommy surprised you tonight... she decorated your windows with blue Christmas lights :)  Your favorite color.  So, instead of sleeping with your fishy night light, you'll be sleeping to the soft blue glow of Christmas lights!  Love to all, sleep with sweet dreams around every corner:)

Walking across the street from our home to the Seiberling :)

Our house is the 4th house... just past the blow up decorations.  The horses rode down our road and past our home :)

Mommy was up late last night getting the lights out on the house for today's events.  It's a work in progress and actually looks much prettier in person... the camera lights it up more than it actually appears hee/hee

Mr. Murff checking things out, standing watch over our home :)

Waiting for Daddy to get back with the $20 bucks so we can take a carriage ride!  Daddy had to run back home :)

Our turn!
Bodhi and Daddy :)
Despite the picture... you two LOVED the carriage ride.  Buddha, you look terribly tired and sick :(
Another family that took the carriage ride with us... Mommy actually knew the Daddy in this picture, Adam Jacobs.  Mommy went to elementary and high school with him!  He is all grown and has a beautiful family of his own!

"Oooooh'ing and Ahhhh'ing"

Bodhi lovin' every minute of our new family tradition!

The Seiberling all lit up!

What a beautiful neighborhood we live in :)
