Mommy woke up a little late this morning, so once Mommy got word that Aunt Ti had electricity and that she was up for babysitting you two, Daddy packed you in the car and off you both went for the day. Mommy rushed to get ready for work, and then went and marked in the backyard where I wanted the playhouse placed, it was to be delivered this afternoon while Daddy was home working. Since Mommy didn't hear back from her new client, Mommy went to the salon and had some hair therapy with her all-time favorite and long time hair stylist, Chantel :) Mommy's hair was so annoyingly long and the highlights dull, so Mommy was super excited to get pampered! I decided to go darker, rather than highlights, in which she takes my lightest natural color and adds some additional in... I wanted something way different, especially since I can't cut my hair all off as I usually do every couple of years for some fun drama, but cutting it all off is out since I'm still fat hee/hee
Anyway, Mommy got her "hair did," and arrived back home to be sadly disappointed! Daddy, furious and frustrated, explained that they basically dumped the playhouse in the middle of the yard and refused to place it where Daddy specified due to the machinery. OH BOY! Mommy's cat house rescue/Bodhi's and Jude's animal sanctuary ended up eating most of Daddy's work day :( He was on the phone threatening lawsuits, sweet talking... he tried everything. However, Mommy's quick thinking resulted in a new plan... one that involves Mommy digging up a fence along the alley so that the independent contractor/delivery guy can come back and move it into place. Mommy is so pissed at Menard's! They didn't give any indication that there would be limitations or specifications for delivery... and Mommy did ask and confirm that it could be placed right off of our drive beside our garage. They had a whole yard and drive to work with, however, they didn't have the proper equipment which limited their placement. Daddy was also told by the delivery guy that it would rot because it didn't have a foundation. Mommy was told by the Menard's builders that the crate thingy it would be delivered on would be a sufficient foundation and that it wouldn't rot! So now Mommy has to level and get some gravel for a foundation (well, after I call Papaw or Great Uncle Dan to ask how best to do it)! What a freakin' nightmere!
Mommy and Daddy were then "off" and didn't get anything accomplished we had hoped. Mommy went and picked up some medications for Daddy and picked you two up from Aunt Ti's. You two at least had a great day. Buddha, you noticed Momma's hair right away. Mommy and Aunt ti were cracking up. You petted Mommy's hair and was checking it out thoroughly :) Mommy then took you both home where Grandmoo, Sister Kelly, and Governor were waiting on us to arrive back home. Sister kelly brought over a bookshelf unit they weren't using for your room Buddha :) You both played with Grandmoo and Sister Kelly for a while, and then Mommy put you down to sleep, Buddha. You were a super tired boy! Mommy then went back to work and arrived back home at about 9:30pm and put you to bed Bodhi. You were so tired, but you insisted on staying awake to see your Momma :) Hopefully, this whole playhouse ordeal works it's self out... we have two homeless kitties that need to get in a home! And it will be a super nice little cat house if we can ever get it fixed up right!
After this blog entry is complete, Mommy and Daddy will be in crunch mode to get our work completed! Uggggh!
