A Mellow Brick Road...: Together Forever

Bodhi and Jude, Mommy got some really sweet pictures of you two together today. Bodhi, when Mommy was taking pictures of Jude in his really sweet outfit, you decided you wanted in on the action and climbed up in the chair next to him. Mommy's friend, Carrie Talbott, made Jude the cutest and grooviest bow tie and a matching bow for you Bodhi. Mommy has been on the search for the longest time for the perfect outfit for Jude to wear it with, and well I believe I found it ;) I'm still looking for the perfect dress for you Bodhi (maybe we'll find it in Bloomington tomorrow). Mommy loves to see you, Bodhi, warming up to your brother, he absolutely adores you. Mommy and Daddy hope that you two share a close lifelong bond, and Bodhi, Jude was planned so that you would have a sibling and a best friend close to your age to grow old with. We want you two to look out for each other :)

Today, was a long day. Sister Kelly and the Governor came by to see you both again today. Until this evening, Bodhi, you were in a good mood. You got a little fussy as bedtime closed in, and you actually went to bed a half hour earlier than usual. Daddy gave you your bath tonight because Jude was getting fussy too, and only Mommy can calm him. The pears didn't stick to you, Jude, and you wanted to be nursed to sleep a little earlier than usual as well. Bodhi, all day today you followed Mommy around helping her do some spring cleaning. You love to help put clothes in the washer, and of course push the start button. Mommy got your vacuum cleaner out and you swept the house while Mommy folded laundry. You also helped Mommy hang you and your brother's clothes up in your closet and you picked up your toys in your room. Bodhi, you are such a good helper! Jude, you are loving play time. You love to hold on to toys and roll around with them. You also sat without support for like a half hour while Bodhi and Mommy put clothes away :)

Here are some fun facts about the two of you: Jude, you are 5 1/2 months old and you have been rolling on your own for about a week and a half, you wear size 12-18 months, you are eating like a pro, you don't care for the bottle, you rarely take a pacifier, and you are very social (always smiling and cooing). You are also a Mommy's boy for certain! Bodhi, you are 19 months old and you have eleven teeth (five on top and six on the bottom), you say (Momma, Daddy, Mammaw) and you said "duck" or "uck" and "leaf" or "weef" once, while we were on a walk. You still take the bottle when you nap and at bedtime, you have to have your monkey tucked under your left arm and your pacifier in your right hand when you go to bed, you wear size 3T in shirts and dresses, and size 2T in jeans, size 6 in shoes, you learned to walk before you crawled, you love to dance, go for walks, and chase Mr. Murff around the house, you are a very observant (you learn very quickly) and you are an awesome little helper. You are still a Daddy's girl (but Mommy's working on it)! :) You both love to go on road trips with Mommy and Daddy and you both are very good in the car (Jude you weren't always good in the car). You both are sweet, but when you get upset... LOOK OUT, you both have some major tempers. Bodhi, Daddy calms you the easiest and of course Jude, Mommy is the only one that can calm you.
