We had an eventful night last night, or should I say this morning! Jude you woke from all the loud sirens and bright lights coming from fire trucks and ambulances that arrived next door... our neighbor's house caught fire and luckily no one was home at the time. Our whole block was blocked by fire trucks. Jude, you loved watching all the firemen run around and all the bright lights. Bodhi, Mommy peeked in your room to make sure you were okay, and not stunned into silence and sitting scared in your crib. Your room was all lit up but you were fast asleep with your butt in the air and a blanket partly over your head. The firemen were next door from about 12:30 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. Jude, staying up later than usual for Sean Franky's birthday, and then the hour and a half you were awake watching the firemen, didn't cause you to want to sleep in this morning. You woke at your usual 6:00 a.m. start time ugggh!
Bodhi, you had your speech assessment this afternoon. Mommy had to wake you from your nap, go figure, and you were so sweet with the two strangers that accompanied Mommy to wake you. You are so smart Bodhi, you excelled in multiple areas in which they tested you (cognitively), however, you do qualify for speech services since you do not say at least 25-50 words (you say three) hee/hee. You tested at a three year old level for multiple areas... Mommy and Daddy always tell you how smart you are :) Next Friday, we have a meeting scheduled to go over your results in more detail and to pick a therapist for you to work with on an ongoing basis. Daddy's friend said that the whole speech therapy for children, is really to teach the parents how to refrain from giving you things, or apparently letting you eat until you say the word... I guess after next Friday you won't be visiting GiGi and Poncho anymore hee/hee because they definitely will not stand for that! Grandmoo will probably be off limits too for that matter :)
After the speech assessment session, Mommy packed you both up to stroll around town, specifically, to the post office downtown. After mailing some documents for Daddy we strolled around and window shopped the few shops located around the courthouse(your guys' stroller won't fit through most of the downtown shop doors). Mommy then strolled you through Foster Park on our way home. Bodhi, you got out and ran for a while. You are so happy outside. Jude, despite your lack of sleep, you were such a happy boy today!
Jude, tomorrow you will be spending the day with Grandmoo, and Bodhi, you will be staying with GiGi and Poncho while Mommy and Daddy drive to Lafayette to get the busted fog light fixed on the car.

Juder's you look at your Momma when you are hungry and you smack your lips together and then pucker hee/hee
Bodhi found her two walking sticks today... she couldn't decide which was best!

Juder's getting close to wanting to go home!
Bodhi you jumped off of this contraption like 100 times, you thought you were hot stuff. You also ran up and down a hill like 10 times before Mommy said, "Ok, Bye Bye..." we have to keep it moving for Jude ;)
