Mommy loved being with the two of you this morning. Bodhi, you were so sweet and loving. Jude, you were sweet as usual, but exceptionally playful... so much so, you passed out in the middle of playing. We all, or I should say, Mommy, made songs up and sang. We danced and played the morning away. You both thought Mommy was exceptionally funny! Mommy doesn't know many nursery rhymes, but is learning quite a few children's television jingles. Bodhi, today we taught Jude Mommy's version of "This Little Piggy." It goes like this;
This little piggy went to Walmart, this little piggy went to Save-A-Lot, this little piggy went to
Aldi's, this little piggy went Marsh Madness, and this little piggy didn't have any food stamps and
went wee wee wee, all the way home!
Mommy likes to say she modernized the old version, but if the truth be known... Mommy doesn't remember the old version.
Today, was much chillier than yesterday, but even so, it's much warmer than our first walks of the year. However, Mommy decided, against her desires and need to walk, to keep you both inside. We had so much fun this morning, why couldn't we keep it going into the afternoon and evening? Well, Mommy has been slacking on her nightly chores, so Mommy was anxious to get some of her cleaning (to fullfill her OCD) completed early today... so, Bodhi, you helped Mommy clean, or you cleaned along side Mommy with your own play cleaning supplies :) You actually did help though. While Mommy was vacuuming, Mommy asked you to put some of your toys in the toy box, and you did, just like a big girl! Mommy also asked you to throw some things away, and you did :) Bodhi, you are Momma's little helper! Jude, you just watched the whole time, happy as can be! Time got away from Mommy today. She was surprised when sister Kelly arrived to see you both, because that meant it was already past 4:30 p.m. Mommy still doesn't know where the day went. Grandmoo came over and let you, Bodhi, walk outside with her for a few minutes. Bodhi, you cried and cried when Grandmoo went home. You wanted to stay outside! Jude, you got to eat your spinach and potatoes without interruption, and you didn't waste a single drop of food.
This evening Mommy's friend from high school, Aunt Holly Donoghue, came by to visit. She's in town making wedding arrangements for her April 30th wedding. Aunt Holly Donoghue was anxious to meet the two of you, especially after seeing all your guys' pictures on Mommy's Facebook page. Mommy is going to be taking the pictures at her wedding :) This is so exciting, especially considering Mommy has never photographed anything other than the two of you, and friends and family, in casual settings. Aunt Gabby Downs also stopped by. This was no surprise, Aunt Gabby has been best friends with Aunt Holly forever, and well, she also wanted to see the two of you as well! Bodhi, you took a little time before warming up to Aunt Holly and Aunt Gabby, especially since they both held Jude hee/hee first, but before we knew it, you were sitting on their laps like you all had been BFF's (Best Friends Forever). Jude, you passed out on Daddy's shoulder while visiting, and you went to bed about an hour early. Bodhi, you didn't visit very long, before you too were ready to call it a night. Mommy got some good pictures of you two with your visitors :)

It was just a matter of time before you were BFF with Aunt Holly and Aunt Gabby. Bodhi, you climbed up on Aunt Holly's lap to watch cartoons.
