A Mellow Brick Road...: Rainy Day Feeling

Happy six months my little baby Buddha! You are growing and changing so quickly it's amazing! Mommy is amazed at watching your little personality grow and change from day to day. You are growing into a little person, Daddy would say you are a little person hee/hee but Mommy sees your little mind a churning more so these days. You are so alert and observant. You watch people and when they look or talk to you, you just smile and coo. Tomorrow, you go to the doctor for your six month check-up. Mommy is anxious to see how much you've grown in the last two months.

Bodhi, you made it through the night, and seem to be doing fine. Mommy thinks your crash yesterday turned you sweet, well, at least for the first half of the day anyway. You have been loving on your brother and Mommy this morning. An insurance agent came by to take Mommy's statement regarding the fire next door at Vincent's, and you took him your toys and he noted on the recording, "Emilia Bodhi is being very sweet, she is sharing her toys with me." :) Today is a nasty rainy day. Mommy hates days like this because we can't go for a walk. If only the stroller's weather shield wasn't back ordered! Mommy was going to walk you both down to the dry cleaners, Stites, to pick up our curtains and visit Mrs. Hale. Mrs. Hale is the sweetest lady, Mommy always tries to take her a bouquet of flowers in the spring. Mommy went to school with one of her sons and she loves to see you both. Maybe it will stop raining before 4pm, but it doesn't look like it's going to :( It did, but it was too late and Mommy just drove over, but the curtains weren't ready, so maybe tomorrow we'll walk down to pick them up and say hello.

This evening GiGi, Grandmoo, and sister Kelly came by to see you both. Bodhi, you turned back :)- you were rolling your eyes, making faces, and being just plain unruly. GiGi wanted to take you to her house for a couple of hours, so after you ran and collided with the door, leaving your nose bright red from face planting into the frame of the door, you went with GiGi. Sister Kelly bought you a sippie cup to use at night instead of a bottle, so we are going to try that out tonight. Jude, you had some Mommy time while Bodhi was away :) You spit up four times in a row... and a ton! My poor baby must have an upset tummy. Mommy gave you some of your prescription medicine, nursed you, and put you to bed. Mommy must say, this day just plain sucked! Bodhi, you can't afford any more injuries to your head, or you may never talk! And yes, you were wearing the same clothes you wore yesterday, because the day turned out to be... just one of those days where you wear the same clothes two days in a row hee/hee
