Happy St. Patty's Day

May blue be the skies above you.   May pure be the joys that surround you.   May true be the hearts that love you.

May St. Patrick guard you wherever you go, and guide you in whatever you do--and may his loving protection be a blessing to you always.
May you always walk in sunshine. May you never want for more. May Irish angels rest their wings right beside your door.
For each petal on the shamrock. This brings a wish your way. Good health,  good luck, and happiness, for today and every day.
- IRISH BLESSINGS

Well, Juder's, Mommy thinks Dr. Zentz caught your ear infection at it's conception because you woke up every hour with a squeal, and Mommy had to nurse you back to sleep.  This morning after being up for a couple of hours with GiGi, Jude (Mommy went to the dentist to get some happy teeth) you looked horrible.  Mommy gave you your medicine and nursed you to sleep.  When you woke up you were back to your happy self and you looked 100% better.  Bodhi, GiGi pulled you  in your wagon this morning while Mommy was gone.  She even took Mr. Murff with you guys, but he didn't last very long :(  You were signing all by yourself today, Bodhi.  You told GiGi you wanted "more" watermelon, and later in the day you told Mommy "please."

This afternoon, Mommy dressed you both in your adorable St. Patrick's Day outfits, you both looked so stinkin' cute.  Bodhi, your shirt says "Daddy's Lucky Charm," and Jude, your shirt says, "Kiss Me I'm Irish."  Also this afternoon, Mommy's friend, Jennifer Sosbe Goad, way back from HS, came by to check out Mommy's broken camera.  She brought her precious little boy, Trevor too :)  Bodhi, you played with Trevor while Jennifer taught Mommy some things about the camera.  At one point, Mommy and Jennifer looked up to see Trevor taking your picture with your toy camera.  It was too cute and very funny.  There sat Bodhi posing while Trevor took your picture.  Trevor's Mommy has been into photography for years.  She took pictures for Kokomo High School and now she takes pictures for a local newspaper, the Perspective.  Unfortunately, she said Mommy's camera would cost as much to fix as it would to buy a new one.  Fortunately, she has a trusted seller that has Mommy's current lens for $99 dollars.  However, she also found Mommy a professional lens, one that will do what Mommy has been trying to do with her current camera, for a great price.  So, Mommy is getting an upgrade :)  Now, if it will only get here!  Jude, you rolled around playing on a blanket, watching your sister play with Trevor while Mommy and Jennifer talked cameras.

Bodhi, you were very sad to see Trevor and his Mommy leave, so Mommy fed you and your brother then packed you both up to go the park.  It was a beautiful day, very warm!  Mommy was worried about taking you out, Jude, because of your ear infection, but we stuffed your ears with cotton and put a hat on you.  Jude, you slept all the way to the park and part of the time while at the park.  Bodhi, you were amazed at all the kids at the park.  Mommy was sad that the days that we are the only ones at the park are gone.  However, you both had a blast watching all the kids and Bodhi, you desperately wanted to play kick ball with the big kids.  A couple of older girls tried tickling you, but they were disappointed when you just looked at them with one of your less than amused looks  Bodhi ;-0   Mommy also took you down the big slide several times, you loved it!  We were flying, it actually scared Mommy a little :)  Bodhi you played so hard you worked up an appetite, and luckily, Mommy packed you some snacks.  You, Jude, and Mommy all sat on a blanket and had a snack, all while watching the older kids play kick ball.  When packing up Jude to leave, you Bodhi, tried giving Mommy what appeared to be a piece of paper... but Mommy told you "thank you and hold on to it for a minute."  Then you got frustrated, grunted, and then proceeded to pull Jude's hat off of his head.  Mommy, not getting it said,  "no, bubby needs his hat on."  You then grunted and pulled his hat off and lifted the little piece of paper up to bubs ear.  Mommy, finally figured it out and was amazed at how observant you were... you were trying to tell Mommy that bubs ear stuffing had fallen out!  Now that is smart Ms. Bodhi!  :)  Mommy praised you and told you over and over how smart you are!

Jude, Mommy forgot to mention yesterday that Dr. Zentz says you are so big, Mommy can feed you two jars of baby food, and says you should start stage 2 baby foods right away.  He even said that you can start to have table foods (smashed foods only)!  You had no problems eating two jars yesterday and today!  Mommy thinks you would have ate a third had I offered.

Bodhi, after speaking with the dentist today, you are no longer getting a sippie cup of milk in your crib at bedtime.  The dentist said that it would rot your teeth and turn them brown.  So, tonight we started a new routine.  Daddy gave you a sippie of milk downstairs then brushed your teeth and put you to bed.  This went well, so Yay!

Writing this blog tonight and adding pictures has been a total pain without Mommy's camera!  Grandmoo's camera wasn't charged so Mommy had to use her phone, which requires me to email each picture from my phone to myself, so that I can add them to your guy's blog... All I have to say about this process is Uggggh, Mommy's camera lens better get her quick!

"Irish Buddha" ;)

Bodhi, you decided to try out the big girl swing!
(of course you tried to jump out and landed on your back)
