A Mellow Brick Road...: Another Family Fun Day Sunday

Awwww Sunday, Daddy day all day long. We all ate breakfast together, and then we all played together ;) Bodhi, you and your brother had a few cute moments together this morning. Occasionally, you find your brother entertaining and sometimes you find each other down right hilarious... not often enough though!

After naps, Bodhi, you went with Mommy to the grocery store. There was no way Mommy was going to get out of the house without you in tow. Jude, you were still sleeping, so Daddy stayed home with you. Mommy tried getting you, Bodhi, to say the names of different foods as we walked down the isles. You would just point at the foods you recognized and say, "ooooooohhh!" You recognized the bananas, canned corn, and jellow cups, to name a few. After our grocery store adventure, Mommy took you and the boys to the field (we walked). Mommy also managed to submit some of her homework, which is a major relief! Bodhi, you love to walk with the boys and you think you are hot stuff. A few times you got way a head of us, but as soon as Mommy said "Bye Bye," you came a running! You started to get cranky toward the end of our walk, and you wanted Mommy to carry you... so, Mommy put you on her shoulders and carried you all the way home. You loved this! Jude, you were up playing with Daddy when Mommy, Bodhi, and the boys returned home from our walk. You insisted that Mommy hold you by holding out your arms for Mommy to pick you up, you are so precious! Mommy fed you your apple butternut squash for the second day and then nursed you. You still act as though your tummy is bothering you, despite taking medicine :( Mommy didn't want to take you out when you weren't feeling well, so you did get a lot of bonding time with your Daddy today.

GiGi stopped in for a surprise visit. She said she just couldn't take it and she needed a baby fix. Bodhi, she fed you your dinner and helped get you dressed to go to Lowes with Mommy and Grandmoo. Grandmoo is looking for a new rug and asked if we wanted to tag along. When GiGi left, you cried hysterically, even after we told you Grandmoo was coming over and that we would be going bye bye. After shopping at Lowes, we decided to take you over to GiGi's and Poncho's for a few minutes, knowing that this would only lead to another crying fit... and it did! Bodhi, you then ate your second dinner, eating the rest of Poncho's chicken and melon. You then ate a beet for the first time (Mommy took a picture of this). You then proceeded to eat a few graham crackers... you are such a big eater. You always eat as if you are starved at home, and GiGi kept saying "Bodhi, you can't possibly be hungry," she fed you your dinner about an hour before. Upon leaving, you threw the biggest tantrum, screaming crying, and you made GiGi feel so bad! Grandmoo and Mommy tried our best to get you to calm down, and with your big tears rolling down your face, you waved goodbye and blew GiGi a kiss.

Jude, you were asleep by the time Mommy and Bodhi returned from shopping at Lowes and visiting GiGi and Poncho :( Mommy missed you so much today! Mommy will make it up to you tomorrow... however, you did get some good Daddy time in, well at least Mommy hopes!

While writing this blog and cooking dinner, Jude, you decided you wanted to get back up and see your Momma... so Daddy is entertaining you while Mommy finishes this up (and scarfs down dinner). Jude, you have been saying "Da da da da da" all day long. Mommy says it's because it's a normal baby sound, not because you are saying Daddy hee/hee Needless to say, Daddy disagrees. However, you do occasionally let out a "Momma," when you are highly irritated or hungry :)
