Mommy In The A.M., Daddy In The P.M.

Bodhi, we had a good morning together today.  You were surprisingly pleasant and loving toward your Momma, which these days, doesn't happen too often :(  However, it seems as though you are making more of an effort to bond with your Momma each day, and this makes me very happy!  Jude, you seemed to be feeling okay.  Mommy can tell you are still sick, but you were happy despite having an ear infection.  Great Papaw from Tennessee called to talk about the two of you today, and to make sure you were feeling okay, Jude.  Great Papaw was concerned because he could tell by the pictures that you haven't been feeling well.  He really enjoys reading and viewing pictures of you both each day.  He thinks you two are doll babies! Great Papaw will be coming to see the two of you in the near future and is already talking about planning his trip :)  Uncle Rudy called this morning too.  He bragged on the two of you and he also enjoys reading and seeing you both daily.  He's going to share a book with me that explores questions children have regarding their childhood.  Your guys' daily pictorial blog seems to be a real hit! ;)  Jude, while Momma was on the phone with Great Papaw, you pooped up your back, and today you set the record (I believe)... you managed to poop up your back three times today.  Mommy has tried everything, different size diapers, folding the diaper etc... but nothing seems to work.  Mommy has come to the conclusion that your bubble butt causes a gap in the diaper above your bum, and unless you are laying in a particular position to close that gap, the force behind your bowel movements pushes it clear up to your head.  You are a major pooper boy!  Bodhi, Mommy can count on one hand how many times you've pooped up your back... but you don't have the major butt going on that your bubs has though ;)

This afternoon, Mommy had your meeting regarding speech services, Bodhi.  You joined in after your nap about half way through.  The results showed that you have mastered all areas for your age, with the exception of speech, therefore, you qualify for speech therapy.  You will now meet with a lady once a week to work on getting you talking.  After the meeting, Mommy asked you to make various animal sounds, and on command, you did the horse, pig, cow, cat, dog, and duck!  This was the first time you've done the horse, pig and cow.  Mommy was shocked!  You did all of them right in a row like a pro.  You also said "ut ohh, NO!" several times today.  Mommy asked at the meeting if I should continue to sign with you because I had heard it might hinder your speech.  The lady said that research has shown that children who use sign language, speak earlier and clearer than those children that do not sign... well, the earlier part is questionable since you aren't speaking, however, Mommy didn't start signing with you when you were a baby.  Mommy needs to start signing with you Jude, however, I think Jude will be talking in full sentences here soon hee/hee!

This evening, Daddy came home earlier than most days so Mommy took advantage and laid down because I had a migraine.  So you both had some quality Daddy time today.  Sister Kelly and Grandmoo visited with you both today as well.   Jude, Mommy got some cute pictures of you looking at your Daddy as he was sharing with Mommy about how his day went.  You love to listen and look at your Daddy.  Bodhi, Daddy was recognized for an award today at work and he received balloons, he of course brought them home to you since you LOVE balloons :)  You grunted and pointed and played with the balloons all evening.

Mommy is really sorry we didn't get our walk in today.  It was drizzling at the optimal time to walk, and then with everything going on we didn't get around to it later in the day!  Tomorrow, we'll be sure to do something special together :)

Hopefully, Mommy's lens will come soon.  Mommy is depressed that I'm not getting the quality pictures that I'm accustomed to getting, ones that truly capture the moments of the day
