Our Bloomington Adventure

Well, we made it home safe and sound.  You two both slept for most of the ride home, you guys were wore out!  Bodhi, you should sleep for days with all the attitude you exuded today, but Mommy will address that later ;)

We started our day with breakfast at the Village Deli.  Bodhi, before we left you ate two bananas and a couple of teething cookies.  When we arrived you started crying and screaming.  Daddy tried to calm you with ice cubes and what not but you wouldn't have it.  You took the spoon off the table and started to pretend feed yourself.  I'm sure it appeared to those around us that we never feed you.  You acted as though you hadn't eaten in days hee/hee.  After lunch we shopped a few stores and then headed back to our room so that you and Jude could take a nap.  On our way we stopped off and let you run around the campus yard.  Neither of you slept once back at the room.  Bodhi, you popped a juice bottle in Jude's mouth (he's not supposed to have juice yet).  Jude, you loved it and started wrestling your sister for the bottle.  You both laughed and carried on for a good hour.  Bodhi eventually let you have another drink Jude.  Bodhi, you are such a dare devil.  You are completely fearless!  You decided to dive off of the bed... you are into jumping off of things, and I can't stress enough, you have no fear in doing so.  This scares Mommy and Daddy to death!

This afternoon we walked back downtown to walk around the shops.  You two took turns fussing and sleeping in your strollers.  At dinner time we decided to eat at Nick's Old English Pub.  We sat in a booth, Jude you love sitting up on your own, rather than in the stroller.  Bodhi, you began to play your games in order to take advantage of Daddy and get into things you shouldn't be getting into... like the salt and pepper shakers etc... Mommy and Daddy were shocked by your behavior, it took everything we had to not bust out laughing at you.  Daddy says that you were posessed by the spirit of Bob Knight.  Jude, even you watched your sister in amazement.  Bodhi, Daddy gave you a plastic plate and put some crackers on it for you to feed yourself.  You proceeded to shove all of them in your mouth.   When Daddy corrected you and told you "only eat one at a time," you ripped the plate off the table, made a horrible face and shoved every single last cracker piece into your mouth, while making growling noises.  You then took the plate and ripped it up.  (This was all within seconds mind you).  You then grabbed Jude's baby spoon and proceeded to try and break it in two.  Oh my, we are so going to have our hands full with you little one!  Jude, Mommy hopes that you don't pick up on Bodhi's demon-like behaviors hee/hee because you are so sweet and mellow, but Mommy and Daddy have both seen the temper you are capable of :0

After dinner we walked around campus and back to our car.  Daddy had to use the restroom so Mommy put you Bodhi, in your car seat.  Jude, you were already in your car seat content after having been nursed.  Mommy told you, Bodhi, "you have been a stink pot today and very ugly toward your Momma."  "Your Momma needs a hug and kiss."  Bodhi, you reached out and hugged your Momma and Momma stole a kiss from you.  In the car you were a sweet little angel.  You were smiling and giggling, as if you hadn't been upset all day.  Mommy believes all the different representation of religious figures hanging from her review mirror cleansed you of the devil Ha/Ha!  You both fell asleep about ten minutes into the car ride home, Mommy of course got the cutest pictures of you two sleeping.

Mommy is amazed that every where we went people stopped us to ask if you two were twins.  Now, just to create a clear picture of why Mommy and Daddy find this disturbing... Bodhi, you are the size of a three year old.  Jude you are only 5 1/2 months old... therefore, Jude you must appear bigger than even Mommy and Daddy recognize, you are one big boy!  Mommy and Daddy had a really nice time on our adventure in Bloomington, so much so, Daddy reserved a room, the room next door, for two days this time next year.  Hopefully, you both enjoy our family adventures.  Mommy knows you both were relieved to be home though.  You both went right to sleep after having slept for nearly three hours on the car ride home.

These pictures were taken in the same sequence as our day.
