Kurt Vonnegut Jr. believed Bloomington, Indiana is the center of the universe, and well, so does your Daddy! Mommy asked Daddy to plan an overnight visit during his spring break for all of us to take a trip to Bloomington as a special mini getaway. Mommy knows how much Daddy loves visiting Bloomington, and he would actually love to move here... so we were all anxiously awaiting for today to arrive. Bodhi and Jude, you both were good in the car on the way here. We first stopped off at Oliver Winery. Bodhi, you ran around quacking at the ducks, climbing on rocks, and running up and down hills. Jude, you sat with Daddy at a picnic table while Mommy and Bodhi played.
Afterwards, we all headed to the Memorial Union on campus where we are staying. We have an awesome room overlooking the old cemetery and stream. This cemetery is Mommy's all time favorite. After we unpacked and settled, we decided to drive to Nashville. However, by the time we got there all of the stores were closed so we found a local restaurant, the Hob Nob, and ate dinner. Bodhi you were so fussy. Daddy panders to you when you become fussy in public. It's his way of keeping the peace, meanwhile Mommy tells you "No, Bodhi." "Don't act like that Bodhi." Hee/hee you listen to Mommy, except when Daddy is around. Mommy and Daddy will have to work on this :) After dinner we drove back to Bloomington. Jude, you cried the entire way back, well, you stopped crying about a block from the Union! Once back at the room, you nursed and then puked all over the place, but quickly fell asleep. Mommy hopes that you are feeling okay and that you stay asleep. Bodhi, you took forever to fall asleep. When Daddy was trying to get Bodhi to sleep, there were about 100 Middle schoolers/Junior High kids in the hall making a ruckus! Mommy went into the hall to set the little techno geeks straight hee/hee, they were actually very polite and apologized. A few minutes later a group of giggly girls were outside of our room being noisy and Mommy heard the boys tell the girls, "Keep it down, there's babies in there!" Ha, Mommy scares everyone :)
Tomorrow, the plan is to walk around campus and then maybe drive back to Nashville. Daddy negotiated us a late check-out so we have a home base until 3pm :) Mommy and Daddy love adventures, and you both seem to really enjoy yourselves as well.
PS Mommy had to create this Blog twice... Ugggh. I went to publish it, something went wrong, and I lost everything! Mommy needs to figure out a way to save these in case anything ever happens to this blog!!!!!
