A Mellow Brick Road...: Sunday Family Time

This morning Jude, you woke up extra early, but Mommy and Daddy were able to squeak out an extra hour of sleep by sitting you up in bed between us and allowing you to play with your toys... kind of sad, I know, but you were perfectly content. Bodhi, you slept in this morning. Mommy is worried you are starting to get sick because you have been non-stop fussy and sleepy. Daddy went to the Windmill Grill and brought back breakfast for him and Mommy. Bodhi, you ate your normal oatmeal, and Jude, you ate your baby cereal. However, when Daddy arrived back with Sunday breakfast for he and Mommy, Bodhi, you decided to have a second breakfast. Bodhi, you are such a big eater! After breakfast, you and Jude played downstairs rather than in your room. Bodhi, you didn't seem to like this change in our routine too well :( Jude you could care less, so long as you have some toys to play with, you are perfectly happy. We all played until nap time, and then we all took a nap together today. It was nice getting some extra sleep. Mommy thinks she could sleep for a week straight if given the opportunity, and well, we all know Daddy would sleep for weeks if he could.

This afternoon, Mommy was at a lost for activities for the two of you, especially since I'm worried you are getting sick Bodhi and your well child checkup isn't for several months. So, we took Mr. Murff and Mr. Arlo outside to play in the front yard. Mommy didn't want to get to far from home. Jude, you walked in your walker and your sister tried pulling you a few times. Bodhi, you helped Mommy brush Mr. Murff, you ran around picking up trash, you shoveled some pretend poop, and you shared an apple with Grandmoo. Jude, you enjoyed listening to the birds, Mommy saw you concentrating on watching and listening to the birds :) Bodhi, Daddy took you to Old Navy and Target this evening. You picked out Mommy, Jude, and yourself a shirt. Daddy went there to get him a Butler t-shirt hee/hee your daddy is a bandwagon jumper when it comes to sports, however, Mommy understands rooting for an Indiana team... so long as it's not Purdue. Sorry Ryan! :)

After dinner and baths, you both were more than ready for bed. Daddy tried getting you, Bodhi, to watch a movie with us and staying up a little later than usual, but you would not hear of it. You love your sleep, just like your Momma! Jude, you aren't as needy of your sleep as Momma and Bodhi. You usually power nap, and well, you are ready to get up and start your day as soon as Momma is ready. Your mood is the same no matter how much or how little sleep you get ;)
