Jude, you got up early with your Daddy and went downstairs and jumped in your bouncy until Mommy and Bodhi woke up. Daddy brought you back upstairs naked after having pooped up your back (Mommy said she wasn't going to report this anymore, however, Mommy found it quite humerous that Daddy just brought you to Mommy naked). Mommy then got you and Bodhi dressed and fed. Jude, you played with Bodhi's rockin' guitar and Bodhi, you danced to the songs. It was very cute of you both! Jude, you started to get fussy and went down for an early nap. After Mommy got you asleep, Bodhi and Mommy put all the clothes away, cleaned the upstairs windows and hung freshly cleaned curtains (and yes Bodhi, you did attempt to help). Bodhi, you didn't want lunch and instead insisted on going right to sleep... just in time for Jude to wake up (only an hour after having put him down) :( Jude, you would not go back to sleep for anything. Mommy desperately wanted to take a shower, and every time I thought I had you back to sleep, you woke up and lifted your head desperately searching for your Momma. You cried the most horrible cry and even managed to squeak out a few cries that sounded like "Momma." I finally got you back to sleep long enough to take a shower :) Bodhi, you took your normal two and half hour nap today. You actually woke up in a great mood too.
This afternoon, we all packed up and headed for the downtown post office to mail a bill for Grandmoo. On our way past the police station, we ran into Aunt Laura and Luke. They stopped and chatted with us for a while and then Uncle Bruce came out to see you both. Aunt Laura says she reads your guys' blog every day :) Hopefully, she and Luke will stop by for a visit and see us again soon :) Mommy had to get a picture of the two of you with them, Mommy gets kind of embarrassed asking everyone if it's alright to take your guys' picture with them... but it's part of our day, and luckily we haven't been turned down yet. After mailing Grandmoo's bill we walked over to Foster Park. Mommy thought to herself, once I get my new camera lens, I'm going to start photographing the buildings and landmarks we pass on our adventures. The whole taking pictures on the cell phone is too much of pain to add extra landscaping pictures right now. Mommy has captured some of the sights on our past adventures, but none downtown.
Once we arrived to the busy park, you both swung for quite a while. A lady decided to tell Mommy her whole life story, and Bodhi, you became very impatient and unhappy that this lady was distracting Mommy from playing with you. Jude, you were so cute! You just stared at the ladies youngest child that was swinging next to you, a little 7 month old girl. She was every bit as big as you and it was her first time swinging. Bodhi, Mommy took you down the big slide, what felt like a 100 times! It was an awesome workout carrying you all the way up the stairs. Jude, you watched your Momma and Bodhi slide from your stroller, and you didn't seem to mind that you weren't in on the action. Mommy also brought your ball today Bodhi. You kicked it and chased it around but lost interest with it after becoming hungry, despite having ate right before we left. Bodhi, you took it upon yourself to dig out your snacks stored under the stroller and feed yourself. Mommy laid the blanket out and sat you and Jude on it for your snack time. You ate a whole can of cheese puffs hee/hee. Then you became upset, pointed, and grunted when there were none left. Sister Kelly called during snack time looking for us. She ended up coming down to the park and brought you Bodhi, two new "little people" for your "little people" collection. One was a little girl and one was a bunny. Sister Kelly always buys you bunny toys because she has three bunny children of her own. You love bunnies and you love to visit sister Kelly's bunnies... you need to let sister Kelly know it's been a while since you've seen them and that you would like to take another trip to see them, here soon hee/hee! Bodhi, you played with your bunny and little girl on the bleachers at the park. You would move them all around along the bleachers along with your water. You loved them, as they kept you occupied for a good 30 minutes! You also face planted three times, which didn't phase you the least, when you decided to run off the lowest bleacher. It was a tiny bit off the ground, but you couldn't seem to keep on your feet when running off of it. Sister Kelly and Mommy just cringed and waited for you to start whaling... but you never did, you just kind of limped, made a funny face and continued on. Jude, you loved your time on the blanket playing with the lid of Bodhi's snack and some rings Mommy brought you. However, Mommy mistimed our whole adventure and you ended up getting hungry before we made it home. You whaled the whole way home! Once Mommy got you fed, you were perfectly happy. You had chicken and rice for dinner (it was a first), however, you didn't get to eat the whole container because Bodhi was throwing a fit, not wanting to eat for Daddy, so Mommy went to take over and mistakenly left your baby food within your reach... yep, you grabbed for it and the spoon and went to town. It spilled all over your tray. :(
After dinner you both went to bed and right to sleep! Mommy is already trying to think of something fun for us to do tomorrow. Mommy's fingers are crossed that her camera lens arrives tomorrow too :) Love you both, attitude and all!
