So, Bodhi, Sister Kelly brought you home at 2:30 a.m. Yes, just as Mommy's eyelids were closing for the night, the phone rang. Mommy knew just who it was, and I was ready to jump in the car and come get you. Sister Kelly insisted on bringing you home though. Sister Kelly said at bedtime, she laid you in on her bed and she laid next to you. Bodhi, you fell right to sleep. However, you woke up several hours later and started crying hysterically. Sister Kelly was able to comfort you for about an hour and a half, but you kept hearing the bunnies playing with their toys and she said she could faintly see your head in the dark, looking around, trying to figure out what was making all the noise. When you figured out it was the buns, it was all over! :) Sister Kelly said you squealed and absolutely loved the bunnies and would have been up the rest of the night (or morning) playing with them. Once you arrived back home, a moth came in the door with you and Sister Kelly, and you kept pointing at it and going "ooooohhh!" Sister Kelly was trying to tell Mommy all about your adventure, meanwhile you kept "ooooohhh'ing" at the moth in amazement very loudly. Mommy put you in your crib and you went right to sleep though. You slept in until 9:45 a.m.!!! Holy Moly, that's a first! You woke up in a good mood and we all played in your bedroom. Both, you and Jude, went down for your naps at 12:15 p.m., a little later than usual but at the same time nonetheless. You both slept for a very long time. Mommy was out running errands, so Jude, I don't know what time you woke up exactly, but Bodhi, you woke up a little after 4:00 p.m.!
After naps, Mommy bundled you both up in multiple layers to take you and the hounds over to the field. Bodhi, you had started cranking the minute you woke up from your nap, and it only got progressively worse. Jude, you acted as though your tummy was bothering you, so you too were cranky as heck! Grandmoo came with us to help heard everyone. She got you, Bodhi, out of the stroller to walk around, and Jude you wouldn't stop crying, so Mommy ended up carrying you the whole time too. Jude, you were happy so long as Mommy was carrying you. Mommy, didn't want to keep you, Jude, out too long, so Mommy literally ran you back to the house to play with Daddy. Bodhi, Mommy and Grandmoo walked you outside for a while longer after returning Jude. Mr. Arlo was also tired so Grandmoo took him back to the house with Daddy and Jude. Bodhi, you love to help scoop poop with the pooper scooper (GiGi let you do it once and now you're hooked). Mr. Murff poo'd in a neighbor's yard down the road, so Grandmoo went and got a bag and shovel while me, you, and Mr. Murff waited for her to return. Bodhi, you then proceeded to point out all the poop in all the neighbor's yards as we passed by. When we didn't scoop it, you cried! Once back home, your cheeks purple, you still refused to come back inside. Grandmoo let you dig in Mommy's garden while she scooped poop out of our backyard. We had to drag you inside. We were so worried about you being too cold. You were not a happy camper about having to go inside, of course. So, Mommy turned on some cartoons, bundled you, and cuddled you on the couch. Grandmoo brought you some snacks and you were in heaven. Bodhi, you did not want to take a bath tonight either, but you desperately needed one. Once you were in the tub, Mommy could see you begin to relax and then you were happy and ready for bed. Once Mommy got you to bed, Mommy then fed you, Jude. You had apple butternut squash for the first time. Jude, you were so fussy today, which is so not like you, but once Mommy got you fed, changed, and nursed, you went right to sleep. Mommy is currently the only one awake in the house. Mr. Arlo and Mr. Murff are even passed out. Mommy has a long night a head of her, but hopefully, you both get a restful nights sleep :)
