An Hour Lost

My sweet little ones, you both slept in this morning :)  Today, was a rather lazy day for all of us.  We just hung out as the day dragged on.  Daddy set all the clocks forward one hour, so we lost an hour, but don't worry, we'll get that hour back in the fall.  Jude, Mommy put Bodhi's sunglasses on you and you loved them, you didn't try to take them off at all.  Bodhi, you had an absolute fit.  You did not want Jude wearing your glasses!

4pm rolled around and Mommy had enough.  We all went on a walk.  First, we walked Mr. Murff to the recycle bins to drop our recyclables.  We picked up trash that could be recycled along the road on our way... people are so trashy around here.  Bodhi, you helped Mommy pick up all the litter, I can't stress enough what a good little helper you are.  After dropping the recyclables off, we walked Mr. Murff over to the field, Syndicate Sales' field, located behind our house.  Jude you fell asleep in the stroller.  Bodhi, you helped Mommy brush Mr. Murff.  You were so gentle and did such a good job.  Bodhi, you also threw Mr. Murff's ball for him.  His hips are so bad, Mommy is worried how much time he has left.  Mommy will be making him an appointment with the vet this week... fingers crossed!  Mommy's not ready to say goodbye to Mr. Murff, he's too young to give up hope, but Mommy cannot let him suffer.  While at the field Mommy tried teaching you how to skip Bodhi.  You laughed so hard and ran right behind me.  You would run and then jump, you didn't quite master skipping, but you sure were cute trying.  We then went back home.  Bodhi you held Mommy's hand and walked beside the stroller.  Jude, you woke up and wanted out of the stroller as well.  Daddy was doing work, so Mommy asked Grandmoo to watch you while we took Mr. Arlo for a short walk.  He can't walk very far either because he walks funny and his nails are filed down to nubs and they bleed.  Bodhi, you laughed watching Mr. Arlo walk, you think he is the funniest creature!  Jude, you went with Grandmoo to the grocery store.  She was scared you'd start crying so she ran through the store throwing the things she needed into the cart.  Grandmoo said you giggled the whole time!  Bodhi, after both the fuzzies were walked Mommy took you for a stroll around Kokomo Beach, also known as the Pea Shore hee/hee.  You love our walks and you of course cried when we returned home.  You were outside for 2 1/2 hours and that wasn't long enough for you.

Mommy gave you both baths and tucked you each in bed.  Luckily, you both went right to sleep so the time change hasn't affected either of you yet.  Mommy has a long night of homework a head of her.
