We started our day all together this "Daddy Wednesday." Daddy made you two eggs while Mommy entertained you in the living room. Mommy then got busy preparing the crock pot for dinner, and before we all knew it, it was lunch time. Mommy made you two lunch while you both played with Daddy in your guy's rooms. Daddy complained of his back hurting so he didn't play long, but rather watched as you two ran from room to room. While you two were eating, Mommy took a shower in preparation of volunteering at the animal shelter. I of course had to get you two tucked in, and by this time Daddy himself had passed out on the couch. Mommy left once I thought you two were finally down for your afternoon nap. Mommy pulled out the driveway, drove down the street, only to realize I had left a bag of bedding that Debbie Riffe had dropped by for Mommy to take in for the critters, as a donation. Mommy turned around and pulled into the driveway....there you were Bodhi, standing on the back step looking for your Momma. See, usually on "Mommy days," if you can't sleep, you stick your head out the door and yell for Momma, where I'm usually working on projects in the backyard. Mommy was so upset, and sick to my stomach. I rushed you back inside and told you Mommy was leaving, you can't go outside without Daddy. I then woke Daddy and told him that you were outside, to which he recommended I spank you and tell you not to go outside (wow, Daddy must have had a fever too, Bodhi spanked? I don't think so ha/ha). Mommy opted to put you in bed with Daddy, turn on your cartoons, explain that it's not safe to go outside because Mommy would not be in the backyard. Bodhi, you eventually fell asleep, safely next to Daddy.
After volunteering, Mommy ran to Hobby Lobby to pick up some stepping stone product... more precious Bodhi and Buddha stepping stones are to be made in the near future :) You two were both up, so Mommy had Daddy get you two dressed while I checked on dinner. Mommy then took you two outside where you both played on the slide (sliding head first). Boy, your medicine has you acting crazy, Buddha :( After sliding, Mommy loaded you two in the carriage to take you for a walk with Ms. Allie (dinner still wasn't quite ready). We were stopped at the end of the drive and met by Ms. Susan. Ms. Susan couldn't make it to your birthday, Buddha, so she brought down your present, and a present for you Ms. Bodhi :) As you were opening your gifts, Jude, Grandpa and Tanner showed up. Tanner is Grandpa's best friend's son. His dad works out of town driving a truck to Grandpa checks in on him. Ms. Allie was beside herself, very upset that we were all now going back inside (poor Allie ha/ha). Mommy visited with Ms. Susan, Grandpa, and Tanner, but once Ms. Susan announced she was leaving, Mommy told Grandpa and Tanner they were going to have to look after you both while I take Ms. Allie on her walk. You all ran around the house, up and down the stairs, yelling, giggling, carrying on. When Mommy returned, Grandpa asked where Daddy was ha/ha "Ummm, he's upstairs sleeping." Grandpa and Tanner felt horrible, they had no clue Daddy was home, so they feared that they disrupted his sleep. Mommy responded, "Obviously not, he's not up." Ha! Mommy and Grandpa fed you two dinner, and then Grandpa and Tanner left. You two had a blast with Grandpa and Tanner. Neither of you wanted them to leave.
After some additional play time, Mommy got you both pajama'd up, medicine taken, and off to Sleepytown. Mommy then took off (with Ms. Allie) to visit Dianna down the road for some much needed wine and Mommy time :) YAY! Mommy and Dianna talked about house projects, babes, and husbands, and then Mommy helped pick out outfits for their upcoming family picture. ha/ha and then Neither Mommy or Dianna were satisfied with her son's outfit, so Mommy said she'd look around for Dianna tomorrow. Mommy and Ms Allie then walked home. :) Such a nice ending for a busy day.
PS At your birthday party, Buddha, Great Grandma Penny broke something on our backyard swing, but it was reported that it was again fixed. Well, Bodhi, you wanted Mommy to swing with you, and so we climbed up on the swing, only to crash to the ground. Really? How flippin' embarrassing was that! ha/ha
Video clips of you two playing... Jude you were all hopped up on some new meds, you were out of your mind, so much so, you resorted to biting your sister. It's been a while since you've bitten anyone! Also, watch as Ms. Allie keeps a close eye on Bodhi hee/hee :)
