Today was the first Mommy/Daddy Wednesday in the last couple of weeks. Daddy went out of town for work one Wednesday and was down and out from surgery the next. So, we are finally getting back to normal this Wednesday. Mommy, still sick, was up at it as you both awakened. Daddy went outside and scooped poop, while Mommy got you two ready to go outside. Once outside, Mommy decided to give Mr. Arlo and Ms. Allie a much needed bath. You two love to watch Mommy give the fuzzies a bath :) Daddy also pushed you, Bodhi, on the swing, and watched as you, Jude, ran around the yard. As Mommy finished up, Daddy reported that there was a weather alert in which a major storm was moving into the area. Mommy then hurriedly got the mower out, while you two played in the sandbox. Mommy was running to mow the yard, as it was growing darker and darker by the minute. Daddy took you two, sand and all inside and rinsed you two off with a quick bath. Mommy managed to get the yard mowed and then came inside to take a bath myself.
Once Mommy fed you both lunch, hamburgers and baked french fries, Mommy put you both down for an afternoon nap. Mommy was then of to the shelter to volunteer for the doggies. After a couple of hours Mommy arrived home, covered once again in dirt, dog hair, and sweat. Bodhi, you had awaken early, so Mommy took you with me to the store to pick up some diapers, juice, and a few other items. Bubby, figures, on a day both Mommy and Daddy are home, you decide to sleep late :( Stinker!
When we arrived back home, Mommy got busy making dinner. Mommy made spaghetti and meatballs. Bodhi, you actually ate the meatballs... Mommy told you they were Hello Kitty meatballs ha/ha Then it was bath time, once again, for you two messy babes. Daddy decided he would help Mommy out and take Ms. Allie for a walk. Poor Ms. Allie, since Mommy has been sick and working more, she's been missing her nightly walk :( After baths it was bedtime. Mommy was able to take yet another shower after you two were asleep. Today, was a hot and humid, sticky day, requiring several baths and re-baths :) hee/hee So in total, seven baths were taken today! Hopefully tomorrow won't require so many baths. Mommy took time to relax and watch the amazing Bill Clinton deliver a fantastic speech for the DNC. Finally some policy talk... 45 minutes to be exact!
Tomorrow you two will spend the morning with Momma and the evening with Grandmoo while Mommy works. Daddy is scheduled to be home at 6pm but Grandmoo wants more time with you, so Mommy will be picking you up when I arrive back in town at 9:30 p.m.
