Sick Day For Momma

As I mentioned in Saturday's blog, Mommy was really starting to feel sick, and you both kept me up late, so Mommy anticipated some extra sleep this morning, well demanded, and Daddy complied!  You two appear to be feeling much better, unfortunately it's just the beginning for Momma.

Mommy took advantage of some extra down time, as long as I possibly could... until I heard Daddy say, "It's 10:30 a.m. going on 11, are you feeling any better, honey?"  HA!  That's Mommy's cue things are getting out of hand and Daddy needs reinforcement.  Mommy got up and entertained you both while Daddy prepared lunch.  Thankfully nap time came quickly and Mommy headed back to bed.

When you two awakened from your nap, Daddy wanted to take you guys to Walmart, Mommy said "NO!"  You two are just getting over a cold, you didn't need to be exposed to more super germs, so we all stayed home.  Mommy resting when possible.  After an evening, spent mostly with Daddy, Daddy decided to attempt to give you two a bath.  Mommy knew with his recent back surgery that wasn't going to go over well.  Mommy went to the bathroom to see how the bath was going, when I saw Daddy dumping water over your heads to rinse the shampoo out of your hair, and you two screaming ha/ha, Mommy then took over and dunked you both back to give you two a good rinse... Daddy couldn't possibly position himself to rinse you two off.  After baths Mommy got you both dressed, hair blow dried, vitamins taken, and teeth brushed.  It was then off to sleepy town, but you two weren't ready quite yet.  So Mommy allowed you two to play for a while before finally retiring to bed.

Mommy then got things ready for an early morning work day, Monday morning, Labor Day...

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!  Thank you Daddy for doing the best you could to give me some down time.

Mommy managed to take a few pictures the little time I was out of bed :)

And what cute moments I captured!
