"Daddy Home!"

Buddha, Mommy always get you up in the morning, "Good Morning Sunshine," but this morning when you saw that Daddy was home, you yelled, "Daddy home!"  You and your sister love to announce when Daddy's home :)  You then asked in your high pitch concerned voice, "Where Bo Bo?"   Mommy had to explain, once again, "Bo Bo spent the night with GiGi and Gi-Pa."  "Mommy, I go too?"  You handled it well, surprisingly.  Mommy really enjoyed our one-on-one time, you are a completely different boy when you are by yourself.  This morning however, Mommy had to go to the animal shelter to assist with the monthly spay and neuter program.  Purdue comes and fixes the animals, but they don't stick around afterwards to monitor their recovery, and that's what Mommy and one other volunteer is left to do... tend to the animals and make sure they recover ok.  So, Mommy didn't get to greet Bodhi when she finally arrived home, nor did I get to eat breakfast or spend much time with you, Buddha.  This morning was a "Daddy Day."  

Daddy played with you both, fed you lunch, fed the hounds, and cleaned up a huge Mr. Arlo  diarrhea mess in the dining room, YUM!  Once a year Mr. Arlo comes down with a bad case of diarrhea, YUCK!  I don't have a clue why, all I know is it's not pleasant.  It requires that his butt gets wiped after every time he goes out to potty... he can't bend or reach his privates, has never been able to, not even as a pup.  OH the joys of wiping Mr. Arlo's bum!  However, Daddy gets the gold medal for cleaning up the dining room mess, and boy was it a mess.  You, Buddha were the one that spotted it as Mommy was getting ready to leave.  "POOOOOP, POOOP, POOP!"  Yep, that's definitely poop!  

When Mommy arrived home a little before 3pm, everyone was still asleep, SCORE! Mommy even got to get an hour nap in as well!  Now that's a good day!  When everyone awakened, you first Buddha, followed by you, Bodhi... Mommy was kissing on you and telling you how much I missed you.  You said, "Ohhh Momma I love you."  Mommy took you two outside to play while I painted a design on our new bench bought off of our neighbor... Autumn and Chase are moving!   Their Momma is sending them to live with Autumn's dad in Oklahoma, and Heather and Ryan are also moving... to two different locations. Bodhi, after Buddha threw sand in your hair, you were done.  You left with Daddy to pick up dinner, Dora tacos ha/ha  and Buddha, you helped Mommy paint.  You managed to get paint all over Mommy's newly painted fence, your shorts, and Mommy's jeans :(  While we were painting, Carley, our pet squirrel, kept throwing acorns at us... she was on the roof and she always throws acorns ha/ha  Buddha, every time Carley would throw one, you would first ask, "What's that Momma," followed by "Oooooh!"  "Ooooooh!"  Autumn climbed the fence and sat on top and visited with us.  She is very upset that she has to move, and she gave you and your sister a stuffed animal to remember her by :(  Ms. Susan also came down to watch Mommy stencil and to visit you two.  She LOVES to watch you two play... Bodhi, you rejoined us after eating dinner inside with Daddy.  Buddha and Mommy ate our dinner outside with Carley.  Ms. Susan helped Mommy out by visiting with you two while I fed and locked the cats up... it went so smoothly tonight, thank goodness.  Rounding those critters up every night can be quite the chore, and Mommy fat and out of shape, can never catch them until they are ready to be caught.  

After dinner, more playing, and visiting, Mommy took you two on a carriage ride for Ms. Allie's walk. Autumn and Chase asked to join us, so they too walked with us :)  You,  Ms. Bodhi started randomly singing, "Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan, on the moon Bob Dylan, and sang your own made-up song the entire walk. We were all cracking up, which made you amke up more and more words, with Bob Dylan as the chorus line ha/ha  After our walk,   Autumn cried, gave you two a hug, and went inside after saying her goodbyes.  She and Chase are leaving tomorrow on a plane.  Mommy then took you both inside and gave you guys a good scrubbing.  Mommy has been getting side tracked with the picture taking... I didn't get any pictures from today :(  Mommy will of course make up for it tomorrow.  

Mommy is working in Frankfort again tomorrow evening.  You two will be staying with GiGi and Gi-Pa, Grandmoo is still recovering :(  Buddha, you were so happy to hear that you would be spending the evening with GiGi and Gi-Pa, you were feeling left out.

Mommy started the deep cleaning process in preparation for your birthday party this weekend, Jude Liam.  Our house is a mess and Mommy is making herself stay up to get at least half of it clean.  It doesn't seem real that you will be TWO, Jude Liam, my little Buddha!  Oh, you received Great Papaw's birthday card in the mail today, Bodhi, you talked your brother into allowing you to carry it from the mailbox inside :)  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes.  It's 3:00 a.m. and Momma is tired!!!  Please please please sleep in tomorrow morning???!!???!!! :)  I love you to the moon and back!
