YESSS! Extra rest this morning... Bodhi, you didn't get the house moving until 9:15 a.m.! Mommy could really get use to a later start! Mommy heard Bubby yelling for "Momm Mee" so Mommy went in after him. Bodhi, you were no where to be found. Mommy quickly snatched Juders up and headed downstairs to search for you and fill sippies with juice. Well, there you were... standing on a kitchen chair trying to open the soft mints Daddy had bought Bubby for his terrible surgery breath (which is completely gone by the way). You had the guiltiest look on your face, Mommy started scanning the house to find evidence of how long you were awake and what you had got into! It appeared that you had just awakened shortly before your brother :0 Mommy made you both blueberry waffles for breakfast, and they were an absolute hit. All kinds of "Yummmm's" and "Mmmmm's!" Mommy then got you both playing safely in Bodhi's room and got in the shower to get ready for work. Today was an Aunt Ti day :) Mommy has learned if I tell you, Bodhi, "Ok, Ms. Ruby, take care of your brother, Max," you and your brother play nicely together. If I don't, you to fight the whole time Mommy is in the shower. After Mommy was ready for work, Mommy got you two dressed and packed. We played for a while and then headed to Aunt Ti's. It was much cooler today and rainy. Bodhi, you didn't want to leave the house. You said "Mommy, stay here." Mommy explained that Mommy had to go to work, but that the two of you would have a blast at Aunt Ti's.
In the car to Aunt Ti's, Bodhi, you have learned all the words to a couple of DMB's songs! It's so precious to see you bang your head to the beat and sing your little heart out. You are talking much more, as are you, Buddha. Our DMB tickets arrived in the mail yesterday, so we'll be having a family concert outing soon! :)
Aunt Ti reports that you, Bodhi, didn't want to nap initially, and that you, Buddha were awakened by little Lizzie 45 minutes into your nap. Needless to say, you both were grumpy and ready to get home by the time Mommy arrived (poor Aunt Ti)! Mommy and Daddy had picked you guys up the movie, Hop. So, tonight would be a Friday night movie date. Daddy made us a bowl of popcorn, and you two shared the yummy chocolate eclairs Aunt Ti sent home with us. Mommy taste tested it, despite being on a diet... I most certainly ruined my diet when I helped you both eat the huge bowl of popcorn :) Buddha, you lasted an hour after your bedtime. You were content with laying in bed with Mommy and Bodhi as long as you were eating popcorn and/or feeding Mommy popcorn. Bodhi, you lost interest the last half hour of the movie and you grabbed Mommy by the hand and had me turn on your tv. An hour later and you just came and got in bed with Mommy. Daddy is downstairs watching ball games and working. Bodhi, you just told me that Mommy's and Daddy's blue blanket is yours and that Bubby likes yellow. You are a hoot. Sweet dreams my sweet babes. Mommy and Daddy love you both more than you'll ever know!!!!
Oh and, fingers crossed... we had a showing on our old house today :) Also, fingers crossed Mommy manages to get her homework done!
