Sunny Saturday

Today was a beautiful, warm, sunny spring Saturday. The day started early for Daddy and Bodhi, because like every Saturday morning Daddy has to work, and for Bodhi—well she just can’t sleep! Bodhi you are up at the break of dawn every day, and today Daddy couldn’t spend any time with you ‘cause Daddy had to get to work so Daddy put you in bed with MommyJ
When Daddy got home from work, we all had a light breakfast, then we were off to GiGi’s and GiPa’s to borrow a truck so we could get a porch swing we have all been looking forward to getting! Daddy found a reasonably priced Amish built porch swing and Mommy loved it, but we had to use their truck to pick it up—and of course the two of you, Bodhi and Buddha, wanted to stay with GiGi and GiPa while Mommy and Daddy got the swing.

After we brought the swing home, Mommy wanted to take a shower before going shopping so Daddy went back to return the truck to GiGi and GiPa and found the two of you eating cookies and drinking milkJ You had a temper tantrum, Buddha, you just didn’t want to leaveJ, but Daddy managed to get the two of you home and down for your nap, with Mommy’s help.

By the time Mommy got home, the two of you were getting up from your nap and had an additional special Saturday treat, Grandmoo came over to work on the kitty house, and she took a break and spent time with the two of you while Mommy and Daddy went to Lowes to get some additional needed lumber. When we returned, Mommy prepared all of us a delicious chicken and noodles and mashed potato dinner and the two of you went to town on your dinner! You obviously loved your dinner, Buddha, because you ended up putting some of the mashed potato in your hairJ.

After Mommy played with the two of you and took you both on a “walk-gator ride,” and you both played at the Seiberling Mansion.  Mommy then gave you both a bath and ready for bed. Buddha you went to bed without a fuss tonight, and of course Bodhi you stayed up late again, in fact Mommy took you and Arlo out for a late-night walk.  Afterwards, you helped Mommy stain the porch swing by the light of the motion sensor garage light.  You then came inside and settled down with Daddy while Mommy tended to some house work.

Sleep blissfully, you two special angel babies. We love you!!!!!!!!!
