A Mellow Brick Road...: Fun Monday With Momma

Today, Monday, started out just like most Sundays :) Buddha, you slept in this morning whooo hoooo! That means little Bodhi was up early with Daddy and Mommy and you stayed in bed. Daddy and Bodhi got worried about us ha/ha so they felt they should come wake us to make sure we were both okay! Luckily for them, they brought you juice and Mommy coffee or it wouldn't have been pretty waking us for no reason hee/hee Mommy had to hurry and get a shower in before Daddy left for work. Mommy can easily manage you two while getting ready, but I haven't quite mastered taking a shower when you are awake, Buddha. You move gates, escape rooms, and with Mr. Arlo on the loose, who knows what kind of trouble you would get in while I showered. Bodhi, you are so easy, little Bubby will be too, he just has to get a little bigger.

Mommy made you both TWO boxes of Mac-n-cheese for lunch, yes TWO boxes. You two were hungry! After lunch Mommy took you out for a walk. We walked down the road, peeked in the windows of a house for sale, and then walked over to the Sieberling Mansion. When we returned you two played in the back yard on your new swing set :) You two had such a good time, and wore Mommy out. Not only did we swing, slide, and ride the horsey, we ran all over the yard, rode tricycles, drove cars, and stole the neighbor's basketball and played ball. Buddha, as much as Mommy wants you to play baseball, you are most definitely going to be a basketball player. You LOVE to try to play ball like the big boys next door! You scream when Mommy tells you you've played enough and throw an absolute fit! After playing a couple of hours outside, we all went inside for an afternoon nap. Despite getting to sleep in this morning, Mommy also took a nap. Did I mention how nice it was to sleep in! 10:00 a.m.!!! Mommy had to wake you both, otherwise you would have slept up until bedtime. Mommy has you going down for a nap around 1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m., which is nice. The 12pm always interfered with doing things. Mommy made you both dinner and then we played until Daddy arrived home. Once he arrived home, Mommy went to work for a while. When Mommy returned home, I rocked you, Buddha, for a good 45 minutes, and then Bodhi, you helped Mommy do some chores because you were not ready to go to bed. You love to help Mommy after Buddha has gone to bed. You are a night owl like your Momma, but also an early bird like your Daddy! I don't know when you sleep?

Sweet dreams my sweet babes. Tomorrow you get to spend the evening with Aunt Ti! Oh how excited you both are to see your Aunt Ti, it seems like forever since you've been with her, Lizzie, and Andrew!

So Ornery! Bo, Buddha was extra affectionate with you today, but you got grossed out by his bad surgery breath and started pushing him away, saying "Ewwww Bubby," and waiving your hand in front of your nose indicating he had stinky breath ;( Poor Buddha, the doctor said he'd have bad breath, and whewww does he!
