So once again, Mommy took yesterday off from the blog. Mommy and Daddy decided to eat a delicious grilled fish dinner with baked potatoes, spinach, red and yellow peppers, and green beans. It was quite the feast. We ate while watching the movie Courageous... so, Mommy was too tried afterwards to write the blog.
First, some catch-up items... Mommy has been very forgetful lately :( Bodhi, the other night when you attempted to spend the night with GiGi, you only wanted to come home to be with Mommy after GiGi called Mommy to report that you were doing fine. As soon as GiGi got off the phone you said "Go home to be with Mommy." Mommy and Daddy both offered to come get you, but GiGi insisted. I think she was secretly hoping you'd change your mind. You went into GiGi's and Gi-Pa's bedroom to tell Gi-Pa, "Gi-Pa I'm going home to be with Mommy." Gi-Pa told you it was okay and that he'd see you soon :)
Bodhi, Mommy forgot to mention that you helped Grandmoo staple some wood veneer to the Animal Rescue house. Grandmoo reports that Great Papaw Grills was very impressed with you :)
The other day, Monday, we did see Uncle Rudy at Menards, and NO he was not one of the rude encounters hee/hee Uncle Rudy is always super nice to us :) Also, while you two were riding the car cart, Jude, you decided you wanted to sit on your sisters lap, and Bodhi, you allowed him too. It was the cutest thing! Mommy will include the picture I took with my cell phone at the end of the blog.
Ok, So today, technically yesterday or Tuesday, you two ate a yummy breakfast Mommy made you... biscuits and gravy. You two LOVE breakfast, and you though you LOVE eggs, you welcomed the change. After eating Mommy got you both dressed and then Mommy got ready for work. We played for a while and Mommy fed you both lunch, and then we were off to Aunt Ti's. Mommy thinks you both love being home more with Mommy, but you most certainly have Aunt Ti, GiGi, and Grandmoo withdraws :) Mommy managed to keep you awake in the car by feeding you soft peppermints that Daddy bought for your stinky breath, Jude man! Your breath is getting better each day though. So anyway, you both were on a major sugar high by the time you arrived to Aunt Ti's, but Aunt Ti reported that you too crashed soon after (your usual nap time). You both slept and slept and slept. Aunt Ti had to wake you up, Bodhi. Aunt Ti fed you both a hearty hamburger helper dinner, which she reports you both liked (you've never had it before) and then you all went outside to play. Mommy does not know how Aunt Ti keep up with all you little suckers!
While you two were at Aunt Ti's, Daddy was working as usual, and Mommy took her client to the Animal shelter to volunteer. It was nice to get Mommy's client active in the community for a good cause. While there, Mommy had to search down one of the ladies that put Mr. Murff to sleep and ask her to elaborate on why Mr. Murff's death was "bad." It's been tormenting Mommy and Grandmoo. She said that he didn't suffer and he didn't feel anything, but that he just took a long time to pass on. Mommy asked if they had to suffocate him, and she reported no, he just didn't want to go. This broke Mommy's heart all over again. My initial thought that Mr. Murff felt abandon when we had to leave his side for the second shot, was confirmed. Mr. Murff wanted his two best friends, Grandmoo and Mommy, by his side to comfort him and like cowards, we didn't stand up to the ladies and insist that we be present for the second shot. This breaks Mommy heart, I can't even begin to explain. Death is a part of life, and hopefully Mommy will teach you a way to better cope with it than I. :(....
After Mommy finished with work, Mommy had just enough time, 15 minutes to get stop and get my beard waxed ha/ha! It's hard to find time to get little things like a good facial waxing ha/ha but thanks to Aunt Ti, I was able to squeeze it in.
You two were happy to see Mommy, but you were NOT ready to leave your pals. It's becoming quite the battle to take you home now that you are with Aunt Ti only two days a week, in the afternoon early evening. Mommy is still working on getting Aunt Ti to take some time for herself and allow Lizzie, Ellie, and Andrew to come stay over for a slumber party. Mommy thinks you guys would have a blast!!!

Bodhi, this morning you snuck into Mommy's purse and stole my gum, you then went in your brother's bedroom and shared the entire pack with him! Mommy was able to capture what I thought was a normal morning routine with the two of you, but Mommy busted you! |
