Buddha's Surgery And Bodhi's Movie Date

Buddha, Mommy and Daddy were up at 4:15 a.m. getting ready for our dreaded adventure to Noblesville for your surgery... to remove your adenoids and for your second set of tubes :(  Grandmoo came over at 5:30 a.m. to stay with you Bodhi, while Mommy and Daddy were with your brother.  I'm sure you were so happy to see Grandmoo first thing in the morning, but I'm also certain it was confusing for you. You and your brother are always looking and yelling for one another from the time you wake up and throughout the day.  You had a super fun day with Grandmoo though.  You both played outside until nap time, and then Grandmoo got you down for a nap.  Buddha, you were the talk of the hospital!  Everyone thought you were the cutest little boy, Daddy insists they all wanted to take you from Mommy and Daddy hee/hee The nurse told Mommy and Daddy that she was going to take you for a walk, after about five minutes, Mommy got concerned and Daddy had to explain to Mommy that the nurse just told us that so you wouldn't flip out... ha/ha  Mommy was then flipped out.  Daddy had tears in his eyes all morning.  He was not handling this surgery well at all!  You however, were a trooper.  You came out of surgery trying to pull the IV out of your hand, and hollaring for Mommy and Daddy.  They laid you in Mommy's arms and you fell back to sleep.  You slept for a good hour and a half.  When you awakened, you drank a whole glass of diluted apple juice, and ate a few bites of ice cream.  Your eyes really showed how doped up you were!  So, don't ever think you can get away with being a little stoner without your Mommy and Daddy knowing!

On our way home, you just sat in your car seat and stared out the window.  You were still really doped up.  You didn't fuss, you just stared off into space ha/ha  Once home, Mommy took you outside to play.  It was such a beautiful day and you wanted to be outside so bad!  We walked over to the Sieberling Mansion, and down the street.  You were so full of energy, and you were much more balanced.  Mommy then walked you home and you took a four and a half hour nap!  When Daddy finally woke you up, while Mommy was at work,  he said your diaper was at least five pounds, full of urine!  You made Daddy walk you to every room in the house as you yelled out "Mommm meee."  Daddy didn't know what to do, so he called "Mommm Meee" and Mommy left her client's house to come be with you.  You ate your dinner, and Bodhi, you finally returned home.  After your nap, Grandmoo and GiGi picked you up to take you to the movie,  Lorax (sp?)  Grandmoo and GiGi reported that you were in heaven with your big ol' cup of sprite, and huge bucket of popcorn.  They said the previews were too long and the movie was a little too old for you.  They said you were so funny and were fully engaged for about an hour and a half!  They said you didn't much care for the movie when it wasn't cartoon'ish.  but that you still had a wonderful time.  Afterwards, GiGi took you home to eat super with her and Gi-Pa since your brother was still napping.

This evening Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came over to visit you both.  Sister Kelly couldn't believe that you were actually more hyper than usual, Jude, which is hard to believe you could be any more outgoing!  Well, we made it!  We are so thankful that you had an easy time with surgery Jude, and we are happy you survived a day without your brother, and your movie date, Bodhi :)  Mommy and Daddy love you both so much!  Tomorrow we start our Bloomington adventure :)
