Happy belated 18 months Jude Liam Grills Holsapple, Bubby Buddha, Ju Ju, my sweet baby boy! I can't believe I forgot yesterday was your 18 month birthday, my how time flies :( Well, you, Mr. Buddha, started today off with a bang. You managed to dump a vase of flowers, and you plucked out Mommy's plant and spread the dirt all over the living room. It took you all of five minutes to throw our morning out of whack hee/hee Bodhi, you are such a good big sister. Mommy entered the living room, to serve breakfast, to find you with a baby wipe covered with dirt. You were frantically trying to clean up Buddha's mess. Later this evening when Mommy was telling Daddy about the incident, Daddy said "Oh Buddha was a bad boy," to which you quickly came to his defense once again... "NO Dada, Bubby not bad!" You are so sweet :) After our crazy morning, in which Mommy spent the majority of it vacuuming with you, Buddha on my shoulders. You were litterally attached to Mommy big time today! There is no doubt that you are Mommy's mini-me. Grandmoo says Mommy use to pull plants out when I was your age and younger. She says I use to walk in my walker and just pluck them right out. Mr. Murff as a puppy always dug up plants and spilled planters all the time! He was also a Mommy's boy :)
Buddha, when you had your surgery, your sister spent the day with Grandmoo and GiGi. Well, GiGi and Grandmoo have been chomping at the bit to get you by yourself. After your afternoon nap and after Daddy arrived home from work, Mommy raced you over to GiGi's while your sister was still napping. When we arrived, you made friends with a little 19 month old boy with long hair, GiGi's and Gi-Pa's neighbor. His name was Jude Auston! You two long haired hippie boys were so stinking cute. GiGi insists that you are much cuter though ha/ha Needless to say, you had a blast with GiGi and Gi-Pa, oh and Grandmoo. GiGi took you Grandmoo's to play too. You were pointing in the car on the way over and saying "GiGi, Pa Pa." GiGi reports that you immediately started yelling "Moo Moo," when you guys arrived at Grandmoo's house. You were so excited to see them, thankfully, and after several goodbye kisses for Momma, you stayed and played your little heart out! GiGi bought you a water squirt gun, and you two took a long walk. I'm sure you did everything your little heart desired hee/hee
Bodhi, you spent the afternoon with Mommy. We went shopping and Mommy indulged you with all sorts of treats (our secret). Bodhi, you had Mommy cracking up. You really were shopping. You picked out a Dora nightlight at Menards, flip flop sandals at Hobby Lobby, and you also found Mommy the perfect aqua crystal chains for Mommy's bicycle wheel project :) You even paid for your items yourself and you used coupons :) At one point Mommy was looking at some items and you escaped my sight. When I looked up in a panic, a couple walking by said "she's right here and pointed to the other side of a little display, and she's doing her own shopping." You really had a blast with Mommy, and Mommy loved watching you. When we got home, Mommy and Daddy unloaded the car, we also made another grocery trip to Sam's Club, and you ate the dinner Daddy had prepared. Once you finished, Mommy and you collected pine cones, including Jude's pile from this morning. We then went to GiGi's to paint them with Bubby. Jude, you were so happy to see your Momma and sister, it was so precious! You grabbed your sisters hand and walked with her to the porch... holding hands the entire way! You both then painted pine cones, Mommy and GiGi were super busy washing your hands as you went Buddha. You ate when you get anything on your hands ha/ha. Mommy then took you both home and put you both to bed. Bodhi, the Dora nightlight seems to have done the trick, you went to sleep without any problems. Jude man, Mommy rocked you for a while and you went down without a cry as well. Mommy forgot to mention, at nap time, Mommy laid you in your crib to get Bodhi situated, and you threw the biggest fit, Buddha. When Mommy went back into your room to rock you, you were standing in your crib with stroking three strands of Mommy's hair you had managed to pull out while on my shoulders. You little sucker!
PS Mommy made herself do 50 sit-ups, 15 push-ups, and some Yoga moves ha/ha It's not much, but it did remind me how great exercise makes me feel! Hopefully, It will motivate me to get up early tomorrow morning and start a Yoga routine. Mommy submitted her homework late today, but I'm thinking I can work in some Yoga time.
