No Nap Thursday

This morning Daddy woke Mommy as he was leaving for work.  I told Daddy I had to hurry and take a shower before Buddha woke up.  At that exact moment, Buddha, you started gabbing away :)  You are such a Mommy's boy!  I think you sense when Mommy opens her eyes ha/ha   Mommy was able to get a shower in, and then Mommy made you and your sister breakfast, cinnamon rolls and sausage patties.  You two gobbled it all up and then it was play time.  Mommy played with you both and then began working on the upstairs hallway picture display.  Mommy is doing floor to ceiling frames, with frames inside frames (all yellow).  They'll one day house your art work, but for now it will be a mixture of photos and art :)  You two love when Mommy gets the tools out.  You both love to try to help Mommy, which most of the time you both are pretty helpful.  Buddha, you decided to hammer the wall like Mommy was doing when hanging some of the frames.  Mommy about had a heart attack.  You were upset when Mommy told you "good job Bubby, but Mommy doesn't need you to hammer holes into the wall!" :)  After our morning project and several poo diapers later, Mommy fed you both lunch and then packed you in the car to go to Aunt Ti's for the evening.  Mommy had to go to work for a few hours, as well as make a quick trip to the grocery store.  You two fell asleep in the car right before arriving to Aunt Ti's, and apparently that is all either of you needed because neither of you napped today :(  You both had another great day with Aunt Ti :)  Aunt Ti brought you both home on her way to church.  Little Lizzie had a complete melt-down.  She did not want her "Bo Bo" and "Dude" to leave her :(

After arriving home, Mommy let you both play outside.  Buddha, you were taking jump shots and Bodhi, you were "show boating" for the neighbors who had several kids visiting their home.  Grandpa Kurt showed up to visit at this time.  There was a little girl next door, about your age Bodhi, and she signed but didn't talk.  She was so shy and timid, just like you use to be Bodhi.  Grandpa Kurt and Mommy were talking about how much you've changed.  You tried getting the little girl to play ball with you, even taking her hand to lead her to your slide and swing :)  Jude, you loved the little blond girl.  You even offered your ball to her... you do NOT allow anyone to take your ball!  You two were super cute!  After playing outside until it got dark, you both came inside for a bath.  Juders it was the only way to distract you from your ball!  You immediately started yelling "BATH," and ran for the house.  You two love your baths.  However, a fight broke out in the bath tub for the first time ever!  You two were obviously past exhausted and Mommy had to separate you two.  Bodhi, you took a bite out of your brother's arm this morning.  Mommy isn't certain what he did to you, I assume since he's the biter he bit you and of course Mommy caught you retaliating.  Buddha, you are teething and drooling like crazy, and you are also biting a lot more than usual :(  Little sucker!  You have Bodhi's teeth imprinted on your upper arm, yikes!

Buddha, you went straight to bed.  Mommy could only rock you for a couple of minutes because you were pointing to your bed :)  Bodhi, Mommy put you in bed to watch your "two shows," as you requested, but when Mommy got done with your brother and went to check on you, you had escaped and were sitting downstairs with Daddy.  You LOVE running around the house being a big girl, doing your thing, once Buddha is in bed :)  You were exceptionally clingy to Mommy tonight too :)  Mommy loves the rare occasions she gets Bodhi lovin's!

Mommy failed to mention, shame on Mommy, the fact that Aunt Debbie had brought you two stuffed Easter bunnies, a blue one for you Jude and a pink one for you, Bodhi.  They were so cute!  Mommy knew that you would stake claim on the blue bunny, Bo, but you took it a step further and decided they were both gifts to you hee/hee  You carried those bun buns everywhere, a long with your Dora doll :)  Thank you Aunt Debbie for the babes bun buns :)

Sweet dreams my sweet babes!  Bodhi, you are finally asleep in your bed and Mommy started round six of spray painting.

Brother and Sister

Baby Buddha :)

Teething Buddha :):

Rock Star Bodhi, sing it girl!

"Nummm nummm, I'm so hungry I'm going to eat my hand!"

You look so tired!  BTW, you picked out your outfit and you insisted on wearing your rain boots and butterfly hair clip hee/hee

"Say what?"

Bodhi in deep thought...

Precious baby Buddha!  Everyone is trying to talk Mommy into cutting your bangs hee/hee

Your "run" cracks both Mommy and Aunt Ti up big time :)

Run Buddha Run!

The start of our hallway picture display... Mommy painted several more frames yellow tonight.  I'll hang them tomorrow :)
