A Saturday of Some Sun and Lots of Fun

Bodhi, you are such a character, you slept on the couch next to Daddy and we were both up around six a.m. enjoying our breakfast of cheese, apples, toast and butter, and apple juice. You are such an absolute doll baby! You kept telling Daddy to save some breakfast for your brother, BuddhaJ

Daddy had to get off to work, so I took you upstairs to be with Mommy and Buddha awakened so Mommy said just put both of you in bed with her, so Daddy had to get off to work leaving my precious adorable wife and babies behindL.

By the time I got home, the rain that had started late last night and continued through the early morning had passed and we had hopes of a nice afternoon ahead.. Mommy took you for a morning wagon ride, it wasn’t a long trail ride, it was starting to sprinkle.  After lunch, Buddha, Bodhi and Daddy went down for a nap. Daddy’s back and teeth are both causing serious pain so he sleeps through it when he canL. Brother Sean stopped by and gave each of you a big hug and kiss before your nap, he is using Daddy’s car to go see Ariel today.  Mommy busied herself with cleaning the house, preparing for some sales she had made on the internet, and preparing herself for some afternoon craft work :)

The afternoon was beautiful and the two of you played outside with Mommy while Grandma came over to continue work on the Animal Rescue House and Daddy mowed the yard after picking up our lawn mower from our friend Joe, our mechanic. Joe told Daddy he would be having a neighborhood cook-out and be sure to let us know when so we could come over.  Mommy took you on another wagon ride adventure, with Mr. Arlo, while Daddy mowed.  Mr. Arlo went around two blocks off leash, and Mommy reports Mr. Arlo actually kept up the entire time.  So, Mr. Arlo is going to go on more walks (off leash) since he actually walks when he’s off leash.  Usually he pulls and pulls, not wanting to walk.

Mommy cooked hamburgers (cheeseburgers for our cheese-hound babiesJ) on the grill and we had a nice family dinner. Then you two were off for a good scrubin’.  Grandmoo finished her work and came in and spent extra time with you Bodhi after Buddha went “night, night,” and after kissing all of us goodnight and saying “love-you” with his bucky tooth Buddha grinJ. Grandmoo wished Buddha would have stayed up later and spent some after bath time with you and her, but Buddha is pretty adamant about going to bed at bedtime.

Bodhi, you and Mommy spent a good hour and a half swinging on our new porch swing.  Mommy read you stories while you enjoyed some grapes.  You, Mr. Arlo, and Mommy were enjoying some good quality time, well, prior to you taking a head dive off of the swing.  You hit hard and cried your little heart out, you poor little baby girl.  You asked for a Band-Aid for your forehead, and that made it all better.

Daddy finished watching the NCAA basketball tournament games, and Mommy spent the late evening staring at your bedroom walls, deciding on placement of various wall hangings she’s making.

There have never in the history of loved babies been two more loved precious angel babies than Bodhi and Buddha. Sweet dreams stinkerbutt and stinkerbelleJ.

Mommy had so much fun today, but didn't get very many pictures :(

It was cool this morning, by afternoon we were sweating :)

Bodhi and Buddha doing their thing!

Of course you, Buddha, found the only rain puddle on our driveway!

Good thing you both have your rain boots on :)

No, Hello kitty does not need a bath!

Bodhi and Mr. Arlo :)
