Crazy Adventures

This morning started out a little crazy.  First, Mommy made you both breakfast, cinnamon rolls and bacon :) Mommy was trying to figure out how to capture Bad Kitty while Daddy was at work.  Daddy had plans to take one of you or both of you to Indy to try and get Mommy a replacement phone for free after he got off work.  So, after breakfast, and after getting dressed, and after Daddy arrived home from work, the crazy adventure began!  You two were patiently waiting and playing together in your room, Bodhi, while Mommy and Daddy chased Bad Kitty all over our huge room!  We took our bed a part only to have Bad Kitty run under the armoire in our room.  We finally, after about 45 minutes, had him cornered, and Bad Kitty is named Bad Kitty for a reason... and when BAD Kitty is cornered, he turns evil!!!!  Mommy already on an antibiotic for Bad Kitty bites, volunteered to reach blindly under the armoire to try and snatch Bad Kitty up... hu!  Daddy went and got Mommy to work gloves and he used Mommy's shoe to guide Bad Kitty to one side of the armoire.  Mommy finally grabbed hold of the back of Bad Kitty's neck, but not before Bad Kitty bit threw two work gloves and punctured Mommy's pinky!  OUCH!  How have I not lost my patients and not thrown Bad Kitty across the room is beyond me... well, it's not his fault, we human people or Mommy and Grandmoo seemingly have lost our minds trying to tame feral Bad Kitty.  Grandmoo insists it's not easy but can be done and Mommy keeps trying.

So, Bad Kitty got placed in his carrier temporarily, Daddy had to get to Indy in case the store closed early so we were onto the next adventure.  Figuring out which of you were to go with Daddy.  Daddy wanted to take you both, but Mommy knew better.  It was nearing your bedtime and Daddy would have had a heck of a time trying to carry you both threw a busy mall on a Friday afternoon.  So, Mommy decided for Daddy... Buddha, you stayed behind with Mommy, you are such a Mommy's boy, Mommy knew I could get you to forget about Daddy taking Bo Bo.  So, we saw Bodhi and Daddy off and headed back upstairs to see to Bad Kitty.  OH NO!  Bad Kitty escaped!!!  Bedroom door open, carrier empty!!!  Buddha, you helped Mommy going around the house yelling "Here Bad Kitty Kitty!"  Mommy was panicked and called Daddy.  Daddy said he'd come back home but Mommy said we'd handle it.  Well, after searching and searching, Mommy pulled back the window shade and there was Bad Kitty, face to face with Mommy.  Mommy squealed, Buddha, you squealed, and Bad Kitty hissed!  It was quite scary!  Mommy relieved that Bad Kitty went to the craft room by himself, and not in any other room in our house, closed the door and we went back downstairs to get Bad Kitty some tuna.  We carried it back upstairs and Mommy very gently lifted the shade to show Bad Kitty, who jumped at Mommy.  Tuna flew through the air and landed all over us.  Buddha, you yelled "Otttt Ohhhhh," as Mommy accidently let out an "F" bomb.  I'm certain the our super religious neighbors heard it because our windows were open, and Buddha, you repeated it :( Ugggggh!  You then ran and gathered up some baby wipes and started cleaning up the tuna ha/ha

After cleaning up mess after mess from our crazy morning with Bad Kitty, in which you were the best little helper, Buddha, you then were ready for your afternoon nap.  Mommy got a shower in and some cleaning.  I started working on reports (which I will be up until early morning getting done tonight), and Bodhi, you arrived home with Daddy... a special cheesecake treat in hand.  You were ready for a nap as well, and you reported having a fun adventure with Daddy in the big city ;)  You even rode a shuttle for the first time.  Daddy said several people commented how beautiful you and your adorable hair was... one commenting on Daddy's granddaughter's hair ha/ha  Daddy corrected them hee/hee

Grandmoo continues to work on the kitty house, making it super comfortable and cute... you two love having Grandmoo here everyday, even if only visiting for little spurts now and then.  Mommy and Daddy fed you dinner and Mommy threw you both in a bath.  Grandmoo came in and visited with you both before bed, and then Mommy read you, Bodhi, four bedtime stories.  You also helped Mommy feed and visit Bad Kitty.  Sweet dreams my little angels!

PS Mommy is so depressed, we missed the Easter egg hunt!  You two would have had so much fun, Mommy has so much going on and I'm not doing a very good job of keeping things straight :(  Mommy is so sorry you two missed it, I know you both would have been so adorable running after those eggs together!  I feel like such a failure :(

Caught in the act Ms. Bodhi ;)

"Gotta tame that hair Bubby!" :)

"That feels great Sissy!"

Look at that Poo face!  Poo'in on the big girl potty!!! GO BO BO GO! :)

Look at your poor little nose, you're still adorable!

Friday With Loved Ones

You two beautiful babes had another great morning with Momma and a great afternoon/evening with Aunt Ti and her clan :)  Aunt Ti reported that you both were great, however, Mommy didn't get many other details.  Bodhi, you did tell Momma that you took a good nap, but Bubba didn't... I'll have to ask Aunt Ti hee/hee

After Mommy mowed, did some homework, and went to work, I was back to pick you two up and take you both to Sister Kelly's and Brother's Aaron's house to see their newly painted dining room and bunny rabbits :)  You both were excited to visit the bun buns and Sister Kelly's dining room looks awesome :)  Uncle Cory was visiting so we got to see him as well.

This evening you visited Bad Kitty with Momma, and then you wanted Mommy to swing you on the porch swing, Bodhi.  So after Juders was off to sleepy town, you and I swung on the porch swing :)  Mommy wrapped us up in a blanket and took your little Ms. Muffit Tuffit out with us.  After an hour and a half of swinging you were passed out.  Mommy was starting to dose off  Mommy so I carried you to bed.  Mommy and Daddy then took Bad Kitty in our room to try and bond with him some more.  He of course escaped in our room and it was too late to tear down our bed, so Bad Kitty slept under our bed.  Daddy went downstairs to sleep, since he's allergic, Mommy opted to sleep in our bed despite being allergic, and at about 2am, Juders you started crying out for Momma to come get you.  You wanted to sleep with Momma again :)

Pictures from Aunt Ti's :)
Bo, you wanted piggies this morning, so Mommy did your hair, but you weren't happy when Mommy didn't have any blue rubber bands... Mommy told you a white lie and explained that your orange rubber bands turn blue in your hair ha/ha  Aunt Ti checked on you at nap time to find you displeased with the fact that your rubber bands were in fact still orange hee/hee Aunt Ti told you the truth and found you a blue rubber band :)

Growing up way to fast!!!

You look like a completely different child with your hair done like this :)

Playing with the girls :)

Messy boy making a mess I'm sure!

Bodhi and Lizzie :)

Bubby, you face planted on Aunt Ti's driveway and scraped off your scabs on your already injured nose :(  Poor guy!

Family Dinner Date Out

Well, my babes... today was another busy day.  Bodhi, you re-named Mean Kitty, his new name is "Bad Kitty."  Bad Kitty is making some progress with Momma.  Bodhi, when you conducted an after dinner visit with Mommy and the Bad Kitty, Bad Kitty kept hissing at you hee/hee and you would laugh without making a sound, mouth wide open.  Bad Kitty eventually became more comfortable with you in the room, but he is still quite skittish and fearful.  Grandmoo wants to set him free and have her neighbor trap his sister who is a little more tame. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Mommy went to the doctor today and was prescribed an antibiotic for my hand, they also gave me a Tetanus shot/Whooping Cough vaccination, but I don't know that the shots had anything to do with Bad Kitty's bite.  Grandmoo worked on the Rescue House all day once again.  She can hardly move but she's trying to make the inside "cat friendly" with various levels for them to escape one another and sleep comfortably.  You two played inside all day, well I guess you did play outside with Grandmoo and Grandpa Kurt the hour Mommy was at the doctor's office.  Juders you were flirting up a storm with our one neighbor, Autumn.  Grandmoo and Mommy couldn't believe how you were carrying out.  You were something.  Autumn is thirteen years old and wants to babysit you both.  Mommy is too nervous to allow someone so young to watch you, but I may allow her to watch you two while Mommy does our taxes one day, and while I'm home ha/ha  Juders, you'll be heaven!

This evening Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron stopped by to visit you both.  We were getting ready to go out to eat for dinner with Daddy.  You two played for a while and then Mommy and Daddy took you both to Grindstone Charley's.  Buddha, you started throwing your food, this is new.  Mommy and Daddy were in shock as you hurled food at us.  I know other patrons had to be thinking what the heck.... Mommy and Daddy first just stared in amazement, but then Daddy snapped out of it and told you he was going to light your ass up... he has never spanked either of you, so Mommy found this quite humorous.  Mommy has swatted your bums, and you two always go into melt-down, so the spanks are only used for major issues.  Time-outs are our preferred method of discipline.   Bodhi, you get so upset when anyone threatens or swats your little brother's bum :)  You are such a good big sister.

Mommy is beyond tired and you two are tucked away in your beds, finally!  Tomorrow is an Aunt Ti day, and Bodhi, tonight you said you wanted to go to Aunt Ti's tomorrow when Mommy asked you :)  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

Mommy didn't get any pictures today, just of you Bodhi, at nighty night time :)

"Oh Momma, not right now!"

Chocolate faced Bodhi trying to sneak into bed with Momma :)  Mommy has homework, no nighty night time with Momma :(

"Mean Kitty"

This morning Mommy dropped "Baby Girl Kitty" off at the vets to be spayed, only to discover when I picked her up, "she" is a "he," therefore he was actually neutered.  Girl Kitty is a boy kitty, and we've already named one of the other's that are due to come live with us "Boy Kitty," so Bodhi, it's up to you to name HIM.  Bodhi, you name all your stuffed animals, and you have a ton of them, by what they are... for instance, zebra is named "Zebra," bunny rabbit is named "Bunny Wabbit," hee/hee so I'm guessing boy kitty will be named "Kitty."  We shall see though.

After dropping little boy off at the vet's office, Mommy and Daddy took you two out to lunch and to the park.  Well, actually, we picked picked up lunch and ate it at the park.  The entire time we were waiting on our food, Daddy kept telling you both, "Now Bodhi, when we get to the park you have to protect your brother, the squirrels will try to eat him because he's a nut," Mommy heard this line like five times.  Oddly enough, when we arrived at the park, a squirrel came up to the picnic table we were all eating at, (right by you, Jude)  and you, Bodhi, told the squirrel "No no squirrel."  Mommy was a little freaked out hee/hee  You two then went inside the play yard for "tots" and Mommy went to fetch our feline.  Mommy took "Him" home and tried to make him comfortable and then headed back to the park to fetch my two monkey's.  Daddy then took us to Petco to pick up some kitty supplies.  Mommy came up with the idea to make the cat house a toy chandelier :)-  When we made it home, Grandmoo was at the house working on the Rescue house.  Mommy got you both down for a nap after visiting Grandmoo and then Mommy had to work on reports and homework.

After naps, Mommy took you, Bodhi, into Mommy's craft room, the make-shift temporary cat recovery room, and we tried to get kitty out from under my bookcase.  Well, he wouldn't come out so Mommy reached under to pull him out.... he did NOT like that.  He hissed (which you think is hilarious Bo) and then he bit Mommy several times on the hand.  Mommy was bleeding everywhere.  Bodhi, you told kitty he was bad and grabbed Mommy's bloody hand and kissed my "boo boo."  You then followed Mommy into the bathroom and poured alcohol on Mommy's hand (Mommy thought she was going to pass out ha/ha) and you got into your endless supply of band-aids, took one out and put it perfectly over Mommy's bites.  Dr. Bodhi you are the BEST!

The rest of the day was spent playing and walking outside, occasionally assisting Grandmoo as she requested.  Bodhi, you wanted to go inside so Mommy and Bubby went on a long wagon adventure, exploring our neighborhood.  Bubby, you loved our little adventure and even pulled the wagon for an entire block.  When we made it back, Mommy made dinner and we all ate together.  Mommy was then off to work and you two stayed behind with Daddy.  Bubby when Mommy arrived back, I had to help Grandmoo and you were at the window the entire time yelling "Mommm Meeee, Mommy, Mommm Meeeeee, Momma!"  You were wanting to go to bed, and you can't go to bed without Momma :)  You precious little piggy you!  We had such a great time together on our little adventure :)  Oh and Juders, after dinner Mommy gave you a hot out of the oven cookie, you were enjoying it until you dropped it on the floor and let out a "Ohhhhh shit."  Mommy and Daddy both looked at each other with concern and said "Ooooooh shit."  Bodhi, you then got in on the action with an "Ooooooh shit."  Bad Mommy and Daddy!

Bodhi, after Buddha went to bed, you and I made another attempt at socializing kitty.  You named him "Mean Kitty" by the way ha/ha  After a half hour of Mommy bravely trying to get kitty out from under the bookcase, once again, you were finally able to pet him.  You were so scared to be in the room at first, but Mommy was determined to get you over your fear!  You can't be fearful of another animal!!!!  You have to be fearful and careful around Mr. Arlo aka Dick, so Mommy couldn't stomach the thought of you having a fear of kitty too.  We successfully got "Mean Kitty" out from under the bookcase, blocked off that opening so he couldn't go back under there, and spent some quality time with "Mean Kitty."  Mommy's hand is so swollen... Mommy had to call the ER line just to make sure I couldn't contract rabies... Mean Kitty had a rabies shot today, but bit me only a couple hours after :(  Then I got worried maybe the rabies shot made my hand swell up... turns out because I'm severely allergic to cats, I'm having a severe reaction to the cat's saliva and will have to get prescribed an antibiotic.  Oh well!  Sweet dreams my sweet babes!

Bodhi, you little precious princess, my little moon baby.  You have always been fascinated with the moon.  Today, you pointed out that the moon was showing during the day and laid down to admire it :)

Moon Baby!

The moon! :)

Precious Blue-eyed Buddha :)  Your little face looks so bad!

It was so nice to have an adventure with you Buddha!  Mommy has several nightly Mommy/Daughter moments with Bo, but never with my little boy!

Tuesday On The Go Go Go

Tuesday, a work day for Momma and Daddy's LONG work day :(  We had a super great morning together, and Mommy was able to keep you both awake until we got to Aunt Ti's in the afternoon.  Girl Kitty made it through the night, hopefully she relaxed enough to get some sleep because she didn't use the bathroom nor did she eat :(

After our wonderful morning together, you both were in super great moods, you had a wonderful time at Aunt Ti's.  One thing Mommy forgot to mention (well a big something) in Sunday's blog, Bodhi, you poo'd two pebbles in the bath tub, and Mommy who was busy in the bathroom didn't notice, but you said "here Momma," and handed me to the two gems, uggggh!  You of course blamed it on your brother, but it was only after you said you wanted to go potty on the big potty that Mommy realized you were the bath tub culprit... the poo you handed Mommy matched the poo in the potty.  Mommy has the weakest stomach and I must have been in shock, so much so I didn't mention it in the blog ha/ha because I don't know how I kept calm and didn't gag through that little episode.  Poor Buddha, Mommy changed the bath water, but you sat in it as I changed it... I was thinking it was your poo so you could sit in it, poor dude!

Anyway, today, Mommy was super busy helping Grandmoo with the Rescue House, working, and while working I took my client to the Kokomo Humane Society to drop off our volunteer papers only to learn that we had to sit through an hour orientation.  Mommy was worried because I had dropped off baby Girl Kitty to be groomed, which is another long story, and she had to be picked up at the time orientation was scheduled to end.  So, Mommy had to rush out and make it in time to pick up one traumatized Ferrell kitten!  Mommy then had to pick you to up and meet GiGi at Grandmoo's house so that you two could go to her house while Mommy mowed both Grandmoo's yard and our old yard... Grandmoo has been so busy working on our Rescue House she physically can't move at the end of the day and there was no way she was going to be able to mow.  Mommy picked you up from GiGi's and Gi-Pa's at 9pm, you two did not want to leave, of course.  You two were absolutely hilarious on their treadmill.  Buddha, you run on it, and Bodhi, you dance on it :)  Oh what a day!!! We have one clean, flee-free, pretty gray kitten though :)

Pictures from Aunt Ti's and Uncle Brent's :)

Really Bodhi????

Bodhi, you say "yummmm" when Mommy cooks sometimes, you never lick your plate though!!!!

Mr. Mr... it looks like you are rolling some dice ha/ha, but your putting a puzzle together apparently :)-

Here Kitty Kitty!

Oh Monday Monday!  We were all slow moving this morning.  You two, despite having a late night Sunday party, decided not to sleep in and were a bit fussy.  Mommy managed a shower, and made you both breakfast.  We finally made it outside brrrrrrrrr at 11am.  We were all bundled it was so cold.  Mommy took you two on a wagon ride and Mr. Arlo again followed behind.  He continues to do well off leash so this is going to be part of our daily routine.  Mr. Arlo has been depressed since Mr. Murff passed, and can't seem to shake himself out of a funk.  Grandmoo came over and worked on the Animal Rescue House.  Today was quite stressful for everyone.  Grandmoo had arranged with her neighbor, who also feeds the strays, to capture a particular kitten.  So Grandmoo is pressed to get the kitty house done.  Mommy painted as soon as Grandmoo got the remainder of the walls up.  She played with you both while Mommy painted and cut a hole in the door for the kitty door.  Grandmoo had to rush home to let her kitties out for the night and Mommy anxiously awaited for Daddy to return home from work so that I could go to work and pick up some supplies to block the kitty in the basement.  Well, as usual, nothing works out as planned.... anyway, I'll spare the details but after a long night we have kitty one.  Bo, you were so cute, our first kitten is so scared and nervous, she didn't want anything to do with us.  Bodhi, you kept saying "here kitty kitty, come out kitty," in your adorable little voice.  However, when the kitty didn't listen you then said in a stern voice, "COME OUT HERE KITTY."  The basement didn't work out, and despite Mommy and Daddy being severely allergic, Mommy and you, Bodhi, moved the kitty to our half bath.  She bit Mommy and hissed at you, Bo, which you thought was the funniest thing ever.  You laughed so loud and hard, you made her hiss more.  You had to tell Grandmoo and Daddy about it, and you made this funny face, as if that's the face the kitty made :)-  I'm certain you'll be trying to sneak into the bathroom to visit kitty.  Hopefully, we can get her bathed somewhere tomorrow.  Grandmoo wanted Mommy to wash her in our kitchen...NOT going to happen, that cat is already freaked, I'm not about to try to put it under water!  She sure is pretty and you, Bodhi,  already adore her.  Mommy has a busy day tomorrow, working, homework, and preparing Mommy's craft room for kitty number two... two of four that will be coming to live with us (in the Bodhi and Buddha Animal Rescue House). :)

Bodhi upset Grandmoo couldn't take her for a ride in the back of Grandmoo's truck :0-

Poor Baby Boy... you scraped up your nose on our driveway today, you acquire a new injury everyday!

Sunday Outside

Today is actually Monday. Mommy skipped the blog last night (Sunday) so once again I'm playing catch-up.  I know I've already forgot most of what we did... I try to make mental notes of all the cute things you two do, but by the next day my brain is wiped clean of all my mental notes from the day before hee/hee

Mommy got you two up and dressed, or did Daddy??? I'm pretty sure it was me, but anyway, Mommy took you both outside to play the morning Mommy ended up taking you both, and Mr. Arlo, on a wagon ride again.  Mr. Arlo followed behind off leash.  Mr. Arlo has been doing really well walking off leash!  You two are so cute yelling "come on R-WO!"  GiGi called while we were outside playing.  Daddy announced that GiGi and Gi-Pa were coming over to take you two to the park.  Mommy hurried and got you both fed lunch.  Bodhi, you didn't want to eat and went into melt-down.  At this time, it was two hours past your normal nap time.  Daddy took you upstairs, but once Gi-Pa and GiGi arrived, you came back downstairs and decided to join them and Buddha.  Gi-Pa kept talking really loud and GiGi kept telling him to be quiet...he was trying to get you, Bodhi, to come downstairs ha/ha!

Once you two arrived back home, completely exhausted, Mommy put you both down for a nap.  You both only slept about an hour and you two were horribly fussy when you awakened.  Grandmoo made it over to work on the Animal House.  Mommy's friend, Dianna Spray Rudd, her husband, Andy, and their four children walked over to pick up some of your old clothes Bodhi.  They started driving your jeep, and Bodhi, you decided to leave Daddy and come see who was on your toys :)-  You wouldn't let Grandmoo put you down for the longest time.  Juders, you screamed when they first got on your jeep and shot some nasty looks.  Mommy ended up carrying you around.  Mommy gave a tour of our home and then Dianna and her family started their journey home.  Her brand new baby girl, Rowan, was hungry... she is so stinkin' cute, and her siblings are gorgeous!

The rest of the night is a blurr, but Mommy gave you both baths and kept you, Buddha up until 10:30 p.m. to see how it would affect your sleeping patterns the next day.  You, Buddha, really enjoyed playing with your sister after your bath.  Usually you want to go to sleep, but you were happy to stay up tonight :)
