Our day started out, business as usual, but Mommy soon learned from Aunt Ti when picking you to up this afternoon, you, Bodhi, were not feeling well. Mommy took you both home and you both fell right to sleep. You both slept and slept and slept. When Mommy got you both up, you both were terribly fussy. Bodhi, you acted absolutely miserable, and Jude, you couldn't keep your balance and everything seemed to tick you off. It didn't help that when Grandpa Kurt stopped by for a visit, we took you two out front, and Jude, you stubbed your toe so bad there's blood under your toe nail, and Mommy later discovered that you also ripped part of your fingernail up, and it too had blood underneath it :( Bodhi, Sister Kelly came over and took you outside because you were non-stop fussing. You were partly satisfied being outside, but it didn't last long. Grandmoo also came over later in the evening. She held you, Buddha, as you reached your arms out for her (you love Grandmoo), and Bodhi, she took you out back to pick tomatoes while she scooped poo... also, one of your favorite activities hee/hee
Jude, you ate two dinners and went right back to sleep. You are crying now, 10pm, but Daddy is trying to occupy you while I finish this entry. Bodhi, you ate a few bites of corn on the cob, wouldn't touch your cheese potatoes, and ate a few bites of fruit. You refused to take any additional bites... and Mommy and Daddy pulled out all the tricks, but you would not eat. Aunt Ti says you didn't eat much lunch either! You cuddled with Daddy for a while on the couch, while Daddy had Mommy looking up houses online. Then Daddy said it was time for bed, and you then had a big ol' smile on your face. You were ready to cozy up in your covers for the night!
I know I mention it often, and sadly it's often the case, but Mommy and Daddy are so stressed right now. We both have work to get done with deadlines fast approaching. We're trying to figure out how we're going to manage you both while each of us work on work. Plus, Mommy's classes will be starting soon, and then the added stress of trying to find a house before Mommy's Graduate student loans effect our financing hee/hee it's just too much! To top it off, Daddy had bought us Sheryl Crow concert tickets for our summer concert tour, which happens to be tomorrow, uggggh! So, if you two are feeling better, and if Mommy and Daddy manage to get some work done, we'll also be going to a concert this weekend. As much as Mommy loves Sheryl Crow, I want to say to heck with the concert, but I know Daddy loves to escape the madness and spend time with you two listening to music, despite returning to missed deadlines. Mommy has decided not to freak about the house being a mess for like the 4th day in a row :0 (nice of me, hu?)! I'm just hopeful we can get ourselves organized to get some serious work done, then maybe we can get back to family time on the weekends. Daddy says his schedule this semester is pure hell... so, we'll have to make the most of what little time ALL of us have together. We hope our lil' precious babes feel better tomorrow! Seeing you two not feeling well breaks Mommy's and Daddy's heart!
Ju Ju, Mommy finally ordered your birthday party supplies, that's one less thing to worry about, but thinking about you celebrating your 1st birthday, blows my mind!
