Today we celebrated your 2nd birthday, Bodhi, and Daddy is exhausted just from watching all the preparation Mommy, and Grandmoo, and GiGi put into the project. You had so many friends and family surrounding you with love and presents and fun!!!
Mommy will load a kaleidoscope of pictures of your big day, and we’ll have more to say about it tomorrow. For now, it is time to re-group and get some much, much needed rest, a long-road-day tomorrow.

We served subway sandwiches and chips for dinner. You had two strawberry Indulgence cakes, and GiGi's infamous punch :) You both had a blast playing with all the kids! We broke a pinata, threw water balloons, and took turns riding/driving the jeep :) Bodhi, you also played with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and explored (as usual). Sister Kelly and Uncle Cory came back by after everyone left to watch you open their gifts... and they got you a ton of fun imaginative toy foods and accessories. You have a ton of gifts still to open! Thank you Aunt Debbie, Aunt Terrie, Aunt Diane, Grandma Betty, Grandmoo, GiGi & Gi-Pa Poncho, and Great Papaw Grills for the awesome jeep! Thank you Aunt Ti and family for the "doodler," I'm brain dead! We'll open all the remaining gifts tomorrow and report back! Thank you everyone for sharing in this special day with us! We are truly blessed! PS the necklace you wore the entire party, Bodhi, was handmade by Ms. Momma Mia... such an artist she is :) |

Aunt A.P. played softball with Mommy from age 8 to 18. They nicknamed Mommy, Buddha, and still call me Buddha to this day. Juder's you are Momma's mini-me, and so we felt it was only appropriate to call you Buddha as well. It turns out, Daddy was also nicknamed Buddha! |
