216 Days Into 2011

Things have been hectic since yesterday.  Mommy and Daddy have been planning and preparing for your 2nd birthday party, Bodhi,  Mommy more so than Daddy hee/hee  Daddy leaves all the party planning and home decorating to Mommy.   We've also been trying to attain information about our car; when it will be ready, the cost, and who will stay with the two of you while one of us goes and picks it up.   It looks as though the repairs will be completed Saturday, but we have yet to have a cost or a time :(  Mommy has work to get done tonight and all ready for tomorrow morning, decorate and prepare for your birthday party, and of course this blog.  Mommy is starting to have major anxiety about beginning my last semester of Grad school too.  Mommy is enrolled in three classes this fall, my last three classes!  Right now, Daddy and his tooth ache  are sleeping on the couch and you both are fast asleep, hopefully having sweet dreams.  Mommy is straight panicking!   It's unbelievable to Mommy that you, Bodhi, will be TWO YEARS OLD tomorrow!  It even blows my mind more that you, Jude, you will be ONE next month!  I don't remember Bodhi turning one so quickly!     Both my babies are growing up before my eyes.  Since Mommy went back to work part time, it feels as though our days just pass us by with less and less fun/quality time together :(  Mommy needs to get organized, and a prescription for an anxiety drug couldn't hurt hee/hee, but unlikely.  So here we are, 216 days into the year, your birthday falls on day 217 of the year.  Daddy translates the numerology much quicker than I, but Mommy can't ask him, because we would just speak "bear talk," since he's sleeping.

Today, the two of you went to GiGi's and Poncho's for the morning four hours 8am-12pm, while Mommy got some work done, and got the house cleaned.  Daddy also went to work for an hour or so, and then he went on the hunt for a birthday present for you both.  Your Aunt Terrie, Aunt Debbie, Aunt, Diane, Grandma Betty, Grandmoo, G-Papaw Grills, and GiGi & Poncho all contributed to purchasing you (and your brother) a major deluxe John Deer two-seater jeep with a hauling bed.  It was very expensive, more than we anticipated, but it's so awesome, and top of the line.  Daddy shopped around to find the best deal and put it together so it would be ready for you to drive at your party tomorrow.  Mommy saw on the box where it recommends for three year olds and older... hu! Hopefully, you won't be scared of it, and hopefully you'll LOVE it!  You and your bro will be riding in style, lets just hope you two drive better than your Momma!!  Momma ran Great Papaw Grills over with a riding lawn mower, and I drove straight down a  mountain into a brush pile on my first four wheeler in Tennessee.  I can't wait to see the look on your face though!  Hopefully we don't have any mishaps!  Mommy is going to video you receiving it for your Aunties, Grandma Betty, and G-Papaw Grills to see :)-

The rest of the evening was spent planning and playing with the two of you.  Mommy took you both outside to play for a while.  Juders, you kept trying to walk down the stairs and every time I would grab you and tell you "NO,!"  you would slap Mommy's hand.  So, I finally walked you down the stairs and you started running toward the garage where Daddy was putting the jeep together, all while yelling "Da Da!"  You were so funny, you thought you were really getting away from Mommy... running with your arms all scrunched up under your armpits like a baby gorilla hee/hee  Bodhi, you just laughed at your brother.  Bo, you had so much energy tonight, despite playing outside twice today in the heat, you ran around the house, back and forth, yelling and grunting like a wild woman.  GiGi stopped back by while Mommy was nursing you, Jude, and she took you, Bodhi, over to Grandmoo's house for a little while.  Mommy then headed to her client's house to take some pictures of her home for our meeting tomorrow, and was very disappointed that you were in bed when I returned.  Mommy went and gave you a goodnight hug and kiss anyway! Last night, Mommy had a horrific dream... Mommy dreamt that I heard you moaning a weird moan Bo Bo.  So, I went to check on you, only to see some woman walking down the stairs with you.  You had a  terrified look on your face!  Mommy quickly tackled her and wrestled her gun from her and shot her OMG, what a dream!!!  I saw her face clearly, it was so weird, I never see faces clearly.  BUT, noot only did I shoot her once, I kept thinking in my dream, shoot her again they're always still alive hee /hee so I shot her five more times.  Mommy forgot to look the dream up in Grandmoo's dream book.  Daddy says it's because this blog is public, Mommy thinks that might be part of the cause of the dream, but there has to be a deeper meaning, there always is... so, I'll look it up and get back with you :)-

Bo Bo and her Boots!

Planning her next move ;)

Mommy and Sissy showed you how to hammer, and you went to town Buddha!

"Buddha the Builder" :)

Bodhi working the saw... Buddha taking a chew break!

"You are something Bubba!"

Buddha walking around the porch hammering various objects hee/hee

Buddha decided he was going to go down the stairs... fighting his Momma!

Bo Bo decided she would join us too!

"How do I work these pedals again?"

"I'll just play with this vintage transformer... it was my Momma's all time favorite McDonalds' toy when she was little too!"

"I wonder what Grandmoo is doing at her house?"

"Pull me for a change Bubs!"

And you thought you had escaped Momma hee/hee

You saw Momma coming for you, and you decided you could probably crawl faster :)-
