So Mommy was a very bad wife today, I totally forgot that today was our seven year wedding anniversary. I recall remembering Sunday, but it since slipped my mind. Your Daddy said to me as we were getting you both ready to go to Aunt Ti's this morning, "Happy seven year anniversary!" Mommy's heart dropped, oooops! So, while working today, Mommy was thinking about what to do for the world's best life partner, husband, best friend, lover, and father of my babes.
This morning Daddy dressed you both. Bodhi, Daddy dressed you in a painting dress that Aunt Bethie had passed on to you from her little girl. It had paint stains on it so we designated it your "creative artist dress." Mommy gave Daddy a hard time, but I didn't change you. So, Mommy decided that we'd paint Daddy a picture for his office. Jude man, you were a mess! Not only did you cover every inch of your body with paint, you also had a bite of it and smeared it everywhere. Bodhi, you too were covered from head to toe. Mommy didn't plan it all out all that carefully. Jude, you started getting into all the kitchen drawers/cabinets and pulling out all the pots and pans with your paint covered hands, and you were also walking all over Mommy's good kitchen rug as I was cleaning your sister. You both had fun though, and I'm certain once I get the pictures framed for Daddy's office, he will treasure them forever! Mommy also picked out a special card for Daddy, as well as ordered an awful "Holmes" hat that Daddy has been secretly admiring for months. Mommy was in a creative mood today, so I decided to take a picture of you, Jude, reading a Forensic Science book. Mommy and Sister Kelly had taken a picture of Bodhi at your age reading a Criminologist book, and I turned it into a notebook for Daddy that says "Emilia Bodhi, Future Criminologist, 2010," on the cover (I think... it might say future forensic scientist). So, Jude, Daddy will now have a notebook of you... it says, "Jude Liam, Future Forensic Scientist, 2011." It is so stinkin' cute, just like your sister's book :) Mommy also picked up a coconut cream pie, something Daddy has had a craving for recently, but I didn't get around to picking up dinner and the new Abraham Lincoln movie that just came out on Redbox. So, Daddy is fetching dinner and a movie so we can enjoy the rest of our evening together. Mommy is so happy, and so very thankful to have such a loving and supportive life partner :)
