Happy 11 months Buddha Baby!
Well, today was the beginning of Daddy’s fall school session, and it made for an early start on a long day. And when Daddy got home, he and Mommy went to view a house for sale that Mommy and Grandmoo saw Sunday. It is for sure a beautiful house but the asking price is beyond the market presently and beyond Mommy’s and Daddy’s means. So, the search continues.
Grandmoo and GiGi were both at the house when Daddy got home from work, so the two of you, Buddha and Bodhi, were needless to say in heaven. Mommy had got your jeep out and GiGi insisted on coming over to see you, Bodhi, drive your little brother around. Grandmoo stayed with both of you while Mommy and Daddy went on the house tour.
The big news of the day, though, was your follow-up appointment with the ear surgeon, Buddha, and we were all relieved to learn that you are doing fine and that everything looks great. The doctor said the noticeable pulling on your ears you have been doing in the past several days, and the sleeplessness you (and weJ) have been experiencing are due to teething, which babies commonly confuse with ear issues behaviorally through touching their ears and such. Needless to say, the news was comforting to Mommy and Daddy and Grandmoo and GiGi and Sister Kelly and Sean Franky and Aunt Debbie and everyone---we have all been concerned, but you are going to be fine! You also went back to nursing, after refusing to nurse for the past 12 hours… Mommy was happy about that as she was complaining of the extra fullness!
Bodhi, Ms. Connie couldn’t get you to talk during your Speech Therapy, so Mommy chimed in and got you to repeat several words for Ms. Connie. Ms. Connie was quite impressed with your ever-expanding vocabulary, if only after being asked to repeat a word J
So, it is nearing time for the rest of us to get some much needed rest (you are already down for the night Jude, your sister is a hold-outJ), as tomorrow intends to be another early, long day!
