Big Sis Bodhi to the Rescue

Bodhi and Jude, you both had a great day at Aunt Ti's, as usual, today.  Aunt Ti reported that you, Bodhi, said "yes, please!"  So yesterday's missed speech therapy appointment didn't prove to negatively impact your speech development :)-

Despite being the biggest fussy but, once you returned home and awakened from your nap, Bodhi, you were very protective and precious with your "Bubba!"  Buddha got stuck under the dinning room table, and Mommy asked half jokingly, "Bo, will you go and get your brother unstuck," to which you did just that!  Mommy was very proud of you and praised you big time!  Also, this evening, Mommy had the front door wide open carrying the stroller outside to the porch, to later be loaded into the car for our Bloomington Adventure tomorrow, and Buddha, you decided to make a mad dash to the porch.  Bodhi, you didn't think Mommy was paying attention, and you frantically yelled, "Buuubbba Bubbbb Bubbba," and went after him!  Mommy was laughing so hard!  Bodhi, you were so distraut.

GiGi and Grandmoo came over this evening to see you both while Daddy was at work.  We all played outside for a while.  GiGi didn't stay long, but long enough to get a "Bodhi and Buddha fix" :)  Then Grandmoo went home to get Mommy some cat food for the strays, we were completely out, so Mommy let Jude walk freely, all while watching closely of course, but when he started to head in the direction of the road, you Bodhi, scooted very quickly down the front porch steps, agian yelling "noooo no Bubbbba, no no Bubb, Bubbba noooo!"  Mommy was again laughing at you.  Jude man, you are such a crazy man!  You try to walk up stairs, rather than crawl, and you climb on everything in sight, and you always try to run from Momma.  You are just like your sister was at your age, fearless.  However, you are much more coordinated than your sister at this age : )- You amaze Mommy with your mobility!

After Mommy got you both down at bedtime, Aunt Bethie and Jesse brought over an antique toddler bed for you, Bodhi.  Their beautiful little girl has outgrown it, lucky for us!!!  It's absolutely adorable!  Now, you Bodhi, can sleep in a big girl bed, and Juders, you just might be relocated to your sister's crib!  Mommy is debating when exactly this switch should take place?  I'm thinking once you turn one, Jude, when you are no longer nursing and I can just give you a bottle when you wake up.  Otherwise, Bodhi will be a cranky mess, waking up at midnight, 3:00 a.m., and 6:00 a.m.  Hopefully in the next year or two, we will be move to bigger house.  Then you both can have your own room.  Our house now is three bedrooms, but Daddy has taken over the third bedroom and converted it to a messy and cluttered office space :(  Anyway,  THANK YOU AUNT BETHIE!  Your are the BEST :)

Sleep tight sweet babies, and don't let the bed bugs bite.  We have a big adventure in Bloomington awaiting us tomorrow, compliments of Daddio!  Daddy never takes into account all the packing Mommy has to do to accommodate the two of you, and he is currently is in bed himself.  What a sucker!

We finally gave Bodhi her "Little People," doll house last night.  Ever since then, you two fight over who gets to play with it!  Lord knows you couldn't play with it together.  Ju Ju, you won this battle!

"Doll Buddha" :)

Bo, Momma distracted you from the doll house by getting out your brand new set of markers and artist pad :)

You are very focussed and very serious about your art work hee/hee

You loved the flowers Momma drew you, Bo!  You then proceeded to color them with a bright shade of sunshine : )

Look at that whimsical heart you drew!

"I want some markers Momma!"

"Yesss!"

"No, Sis, you cannot have these back, and I don't care that I have your favorite color... blue!"

Still at it!  Bo, you drew and colored for a good 45 minutes!

"I know I'm not supposed to be over here, but I couldn't help myself!"

"Who's out there Sis?"

Bodhi at Aunt Ti's... apparently in deep thought hee/hee!
