Super Bowl Sunday

Who knew it was Super Bowl Sunday?  Mommy didn’t, well, until Daddy informed me, and then he called me a tart.  All week we were pumped for the IU/Michigan game, I never once heard any mention of the Super Bowl, but Mommy doesn’t get much tv time during the day.  Anyway, Mommy had one task to get completed, and only one thing on my mind …our dreaded taxes!  Mommy and Daddy usually push our tax preparation to the last possible moment, usually April 14th ha/ha but not this year.  Daddy managed the two of you for a while, but it became evident pretty quickly that Daddy wasn’t managing.  Daddy was trying to grade papers and all I heard was non-stop yelling, primarily at you, Mr. Buddha…go figure ha/ha  After you, Jude, came upstairs and started jumping around on the bed (where all my documents were laid out in piles) Mommy called GiGi.  Yep, you two went to GiGi’s for 2 ½ hours right after I made that call.   Mommy made Daddy take you two since I got you ready J

Good news, Mommy managed to get everything organized and figured, ready to go to the Accountant.  Yep, Mommy does not do our actual taxes, and yes it took me over four hours to get go through everything.  With our move and all of our projects, our tax filing system kind of went out the window this year.  Anyway, while you two were partying at GiGi’s and Gi-Pa’s Mommy was working working working.  Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came over, with a whole spread of food J  She made the most awesome sloppy joes, baked potatoes, an Oreo cake, and lots of munchies!  Thank you Sister Kelly!!!  Mommy had the Super Bowl game on in our bedroom while working on taxes, but honestly, I was much into it. I hate football for one (unless I’m at the actual game) and second, I was on a mission!  Daddy went and retrieved you two, who were tired and cranky.  You two were so excited all day long to see Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron, that’s all we heard about, and when we told you two that you were going to GiGi’s and Gi-Pa’s, you two were bummed and asked, “Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron aren’t coming over?”  Sister Kelly reported to Mommy that you, Buddha, were being a major stinker butt.  Ms. Bodhi, you started dancing and singing when the half time show came on.  Sister Kelly said you were so hilarious.  You would stop in the middle of the songs and ask, “why is she saying Halo, what is that anyway?”  And when the  commercials would come on with the little boy, you would say, “why does that little boy act like a big person, why is he sitting at a desk,” etc..  You are such a hoot.  You and your brother rocked out though J

By bedtime, Mommy had tax papers all ready (just missing one thing that Daddy will have to get in the morning), a full belly, and two happy babes that got to see both GiGi & Gi-Pa and Sister Kelly & Brother Aaron.  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!!!
