This morning was a bit hectic. Mommy had work phone calls after work texts after more work texts, ugggh! You two were terrorizing the house, screaming, yelling, tearing things up, and Mommy was helplessly trying to focus on listening to a foster mom. Oh boy, you two really were something else. Mommy finally got off the phone, got emails sent out, and text messages returned, and it was time to get a shower. Mommy headed to an appointment and left you two suckers with your Daddy. Daddy fed you guys left over lasagna, Mommy skipped lunch...no time.
We all took an afternoon nap, Jude man, you woke up and fell back asleep in Mommy's arms watching the IU basketball game :) Go Hoosiers! When you awakened, you looked up at Mommy with those big blue eyes and said, "Hi Mommy, I like you, I fell back asleep didn't I Mommy." It was a great afternoon nap with my little man who never sits still! Bodhi, you awakened shortly after and curled up in bed with us too :) You always love to cuddle when you are awake, but you refuse to cuddle when you want to go to bed...you like your space :)
After a nice long nap, Mommy got you two dressed and we were heading out to run some errands when Daddy decided to join us. We dropped homemade natural laundry detergent off at Grandmoo's and GiGi's house. Grandmoo gave you both kisses and hugs, but her face is still swollen and she's still not feeling well :( GiGi and GiPa weren't home, so we left their soap inside their storm door (hoping it wouldn't freeze), when they got home GiGi called wanting to know if we left two-two liters of Mountain Dew in her door haha! I told her it was soap, and she said it was a good thing they don't drink Mountain Dew hee/hee
We then headed to the grave yard, Sunset Memorial, to tell Uncle Tony happy birthday and leave some flowers (Mommy made Uncle Tony a small bouquet from the flowers Great Papaw sent me). You two yelled "Happy Birthday Uncle Tony," from the car it was freezing cold outside. From Uncle Tony's grave, we headed to the Toyota car dealership to look at the Hybrid Highlander and RAV4. It'll be a while before we can purchase a new car, but we desperately need to get rid of Daddy's gas guzzling-not so family friendly-Mustang. We can dream though :)
You two started chanting, "Happy Meal, Happy Meal!" So we decided to treat you two to a Happy Meal for your weekend treat :) We then picked up a two movies, one for big people, one for little people. We then curled up in the front room and Mommy snuggled you both and watched your movie. Daddy fell asleep on the couch, but later watched Seven Psychopaths. Mommy had already seen it and was extremely tired, so I headed to bed with you guys. Sweet sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!
PS Jude, you asked Mommy and Daddy if Uncle Tony went to the hospital before he died. Mommy and Daddy were so surprised that you made so many connections at only two years old. Mommy and Daddy then explained death to you, well, the best we could!
Jude you also went poo on the big boy potty today! It's like the second time ever. You easily go pee pee, when you feel like it, but you have only gone poo one another time!! YAY!
Jude man going potty on the big boy potty! :) |
