A Mellow Brick Road...: So Loved!

We started our morning at 8:30 a.m. with yogurt, when the phone started ringing. Holy cow, who is calling us so early? Grandpa, that's who! Grandpa called to tell Mommy that he and Great Grandma Penny were coming over to visit. Great Grandma Penny has been an emotional mess lately, her grandson, Joel, was arrested yesterday for forging her checks, opening a credit card in her name and using it, and stealing some other items from Penny. Joel is your Grandpa Kurt's nephew, and unfortunately, has been battling a drug problem since about age 16 and he has been arrested several times. He's even overdosed at least once. Needless to say, it's a very sad story, and well, you two provide Great Grandma Penny with a break from it all, or distract her from the sorrow she is feeling with Joel. Anyway, you two did your job, you guys ran around playing and entertaining all morning long.

Come lunch time, you two were winding down, however, you told Mommy that you guys weren't going to nap Bodhi. Mommy agreed until you two wouldn't stop fighting, and Mommy knew a nap was needed! We did have a blast prior to you two starting to fight. We played "shark" where we all ran and jumped on the bed, pretending that a shark was going to get us. We would take turns teasing each other, throwing one you two off the bed for a shark to eat, usually you, Buddha. However, when Mommy would throw you off, Bodhi, your precious brother would jump off to rescue you. Buddha, you acted like you were punching the shark, by punching the floor and screaming, "NO SHARK, DON'T EAT MY BO BO!" You were too cute. We then played airplane on the bed, where Mommy would put you on my feet and fly you over the sea where the sharks were waiting to jump up and get you hee/hee Mommy even figured out a way to flip you guys off my feet and have you land on the floor aka shark infested waters :) You two had a blast, well until you two started fighting, and then it was time for nap time :) You guys slept for a good two hours when Mommy decided to wake you guys up, oh boy ha/ha Buddha, you love when Mommy wakes you up, you just smile and hug :) Bodhi, you get straight nasty hee/hee You do fine once you decide to get up though. Daddy came home from work earlier than expected, so while Mommy was doing some work, Daddy went and fetched us a pizza for dinner. Mommy forgot to lay any meat out and I honestly wasn't feeling like cooking. Mommy hates pizza, but I thought it would be an appropriate Friday night treat for everyone.

Mommy ran down to Dianna's to see her paint samples...we are going to paint her living room and small room off of the living room tomorrow morning. You guys are excited to play with your Rudd playmates :) Then we sat down and had dinner. Mommy made up songs and you guys sang along. After dinner, Mommy had Daddy get us some ice cream for a special treat, Daddy was all for that plan :)- Sister Kelly then called and told Mommy she and Aunt Bethie were stopping by to see you two. They brought Aunt Bethie's sister, Missy, too. You both were so excited, and you guys were even more excited when Brother Sean Franky stopped by prior to Sister Kelly and Aunt Bethie :) You two were in heaven!

Sister Kelly, Aunt Bethie, and Aunt Missy played with you two up in your rooms. You guys had a BLAST. Aunt Bethie gave you rides, read to you, Sister Kelly helped dress you up, and well, poor poor Aunt Missy was molested by Mr. Arlo. She felt bad for Mr. Arlo, being old and fat and all...so she went a long with his air humping ha/ha! Bodhi, you started gagging, and asked what he was doing bahahahah! Mommy told you Mr. Arlo was shaking his groove thang, getting down. You then thought it was the funniest thing ever, oh boy! Your late night visitors were a perfect ending to a perfect day. You know when Mommy doesn't shower, it's been FUN day :)
