This morning Daddy had a doctor's appointment in Indy bright and early. Mommy got you two fed breakfast and started some laundry. Once you two were done eating, Mommy took a shower and got you two dressed and ready to go to the animal shelter to visit all the precious homeless animals. You two were super excited to visit yet again this week. Mommy made you lunch before we left, that way Daddy only had to get you down for your nap when we returned. This time we took cat balls for all the kitties instead of dog treats. Wednesday is typically the day animals are being prepped for surgery and they can't have anything to eat, so Mommy thought it would be nice to take a treat for the kitties. Mommy was surprised to see most of the cat cages empty. I think they adopted several cats out during their Valentines Day special :) You two talked to all the critters and asked to take a few home. After about a half hour of visiting, Mommy took you two home and Daddy put you guys down for a nap. Jude, you cried for your Momma the whole time I was gone. Daddy finally got you to sleep, laying on his chest.
Mommy had several "incidents" at the shelter. I fell twice, spraining my ankle and my knee, uggggh! Then I was so frozen, I didn't notice that my monthly friend came to visit, double uggggh! Mommy managed to get all the big animals walked, and I got Emilia out in the fresh air after sitting with her for ten minutes, but I didn't make it to the five small doggies :( Mommy had to rush home so that Daddy could go to work. there is never enough time. Daddy was asked to substitute for the Batterer's program, and well, Daddy doesn't pass up money. Mommy took Daddy's spot underneath you, Mr. Buddha. You just looked up at Momma with those big perdy eyes and said, "Momma!" Bodhi, you came beep bopping down the stairs a short time later. Mommy was soooooo frozen, I insisted that you both allow me to sit under the blanket cuddling you both while I watch Chris Matthews! Mommy never sits down during the day and watches tv, I only occasionally get to nap :) You two agreed, with the promise of dinner and a Dora movie :)
Bodhi, you played with your Hello Kitties and watched the Dora movie, while Mommy and Jude man made dinner and fed the cats. Jude, you laid out everyone's silverware at the dinner table, and washed dishes ha/ha you mostly played in the sink with water though. Mommy managed to cook dinner and clean out the cat house (not a great combination I know ha/ha :) all while you played in the sink, Juders! Daddy arrived home and we all sat and ate dinner together. You guys didn't eat well, but you took FOREVER. Mommy told you both that you had to eat all your vegetables in order to get a Popsicle, so you guys did eat your vegetables. Mommy cleaned the kitchen while you two enjoyed dessert. After you two finished, you both helped Mommy finish up with the laundry and then we played with balloons in the kitchen (Mommy played from the sitting position on the bench hee/hee). Bodhi, you said, "do you know how to play the balloon game Mommy?" I said, you hit the balloon and not let it hit the floor, and you said, "yes, but you be a good, panty wearing, big person princess, and you dance while you hit it." HA! Where you come up with this stuff, ha/ha! Jude, you had Mommy and Bodhi cracking up several times... you would go to hit the ball and trap it into your face hahahahahah! We played and played, and once a song came on the radio that was slower paced, Mommy called bedtime. Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes!
Mommy might just go to bed, hmmm and it's only 9:45 p.m. It's sounding very tempting!!!

| Buddha, you are so good to your sister when it comes to sharing treats! You amazingly share any treat that you may have! All Bodhi has to do is ask you and you share :) Such a good boy! |
