Daddy had a physical this morning, so as he left, therefore Mommy got up and got us all going. Daddy was gone all morning long and arrived home just before noon. We washed and folded laundry, emptied the dish washer, fed and medicated the fuzzy butts, and Mommy got in the shower while you two played. Daddy made you two lunch, Mommy didn't have time for lunch...I was off to drop off some additional tax documents, return some items at Meijer's and then headed to the animal shelter to volunteer. Mommy was curious as to how this afternoon was going to go. I can't remember the last time Daddy spent more than an hour with you two alone, he's been busy working. Amazingly, for the first time in what feels like weeks, you both decided to nap for two hole hours! Figures! You guys napped the entire time Mommy was at the shelter.
Mommy walked EVERY dog at the shelter and fell in love with a 2 and 1/2 year old female German Shepherd named Mally. Mommy loves German Shepherds but I've never walked one. Wow are they intimidating! I felt so powerful, like I was carrying a big ol' machine gun ha/ha Mally was STRONG and intimidating, but she was super sweet and incredibly smart. She can open her gate, and she attempted to get in every car we passed (on the grounds of course, we aren't allowed to leave though I've been tempted to anyway). There was also the happiest and sweetest Basset Hound named Charlee. She was just the happiest and loviest little thing! :) Mommy is always glad when I able to make it to the shelter. None of the dogs would have got time outside of their cages had Mommy not showed up, I was the only volunteer.
After volunteering, and I'm told as you two were waking up, Mommy ran a trap over to Grandmoo's house from the shelter. Grandmoo and Amy, her neighbor continue to catch strays and farrell's to get them fixed and re-release them. Mommy and Grandmoo got to talking about the two of you and before I knew it an hour had passed. Daddy sent Mommy a text wanting to know where I was, so Mommy hurried home (with dinner) and got you two fed. Daddy sat with us for moral support, but he didn't want the chicken Mommy bought for dinner so he didn't eat. Aunt Debbie called, she's lost a whopping 19 pounds, and Daddy knew Mommy would want to know what she's doing. Mommy got on the Atkins.com site and ordered free pamplets and bars....THANKS AUNT DEBBIE :) Mommy had Daddy run to the drug store for some medicine for Mommy while I gave you two a bath. Mommy put you two to bed, Daddy fetched you both some water for bedtime, and then it was time for a Mommy and Daddy movie.
Mommy and Daddy settled in downstairs to watch a movie when you, Ms. Bodhi, couldn't stand to know Mommy and Daddy were downstairs watching a movie (Mommy made the mistake of telling you when you were in the bath, after asking to watch Tinker Bell downstairs, that Mommy and Daddy were going to watch a big person movie). Anyway, you stood at the top of the stairs trying to think of something to ask for and Mommy told you it was too late for a snack and to go back to bed. Daddy accused Mommy of being lazy, OH BOY! Little does Daddy know, you were just being curious and thinking of any excuse you could to see what we were watching (Officer Down). After the third time of you getting up, Mommy said to heck with it and went upstairs to watch tv. Daddy can watch his movie by himself, I knew it would be a matter of time before you were coming out of your room again requesting something else. Sure enough, you and your brother decided to be difficult. Oh well. I think you both are down for good now, well, until Jude man comes and crawls in bed with Mommy. Ha! by the time I loaded the pictures, you both have got back up 8 times! :)-
Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes.
