Last night after you two were in bed, Dianna sent me a text asking if I would mind watching Dakota and Nathan while she took Rowan and Norah to their well-child check-up. Mommy of course agreed, and we decided that I would take the two of you down to her house. I knew you two would be excited to get to go bye bye first thing in the morning, and to go play :) And of course, I was right! Mommy jumped in the shower, and then got you two dressed and bundled. We again walked a couple of blocks down to Aunt Dianna's, and you two ran part of the way, you two were cold :/ You both kept saying, "where's Aunt Dianna's house, are we almost there yet?"
Once there, you two began playing and running around. Poor little Norah threw a fit, she did not want to leave to go to the doctor. So, poor Dianna had to drag and carry her out of the house, and she reports that Norah told her doctor over and over, "I don't want to be here, I want to be at home playing with Amanda's kids." Hee/hee You all began playing in the bouncy, though Kota and Nathan were scheming, turning it off and telling the two of you that it didn't work...they wanted to watch a movie. Mommy had a load of laundry I was folding for Dianna, and you two were actually having fun, so Mommy made Nathan and Kota turn it back on so that you could play while I finished folding laundry. Jude, you were doing flips in it, you have been so excited about participating in gymnastics, even more so than your sister, so you've been practicing your tumbling skills. You are limber like your Momma, and you love to flip. So, Mommy is working on getting you two signed up for a private class that Dianna has going...you two are too young otherwise, so we are trying to make it happen :)
Anyway, you all played in the bouncy, and then we attempted to figure out Dianna's tv/dvd system, which apparently is Apple? That's what Nathan told me, but he and his sister told me a lot of things that weren't exactly true ha/ha!!! Mommy learned her lesson though, I was definitely gullible when it came to believing what Mr. Nathan and Ms. Kota are permitted to do hee/hee Oh well, all is well and you all had fun. Mommy got some cleaning, not much at all, done for Dianna. I don't know how she manages as well as she does with four kids, a dog, a hubby, and a monster of a house (one of the houses both Mommy and Daddy loved...we thought we would be well over our heads trying to convert the three apartments back to a single house), however Dianna and her husband have done wonders!
Once Dianna, Norah, and Rowan arrived back home, you all curled up on the couch and watched a movie while Mommy and Dianna visited. Daddy called at about 2:30 p.m. telling Mommy that he had picked up our prescription print-out, so Mommy had to get you two home to adjust our print-outs so Daddy could take our taxes to be filed.
Once home, Mommy got the taxes fixed, dog poo scooped, and I then began cleaning our upstairs. You two tried to lay down, but it wasn't happening and I didn't want you up all night so I didn't push it. You two were wanting to be Mommy's little helpers, and Mommy welcomed your help. Jude, you did an unbelievably great job scouring our kitchen sink. Mommy debated and debated, and decided to let you have at it. You are ALWAYS washing dishes and cleaning the sink (not really/but yes kinda really), but today you graduated to the big time. Mommy sprinkled Ajax in the sink and showed you what to do, and wow, our sink was sparkling. No major incidents, no Ajax ingested, no wet sleeves, just a clean sink and a proud little boy. Mommy was in the kitchen with you the whole time :) Bodhi, you were pouting, and you said, "Mommy, I want something to do that will make you proud." So after I told you you make me proud everyday, Mommy handed you a feather duster and gave you instructions to dust the entire first floor :) You had at it and everything from the ground up to about three feet was dust free :) You are so smart Bodhi. When Mommy told you that everything from your height down looked amazing, you took it a step further and pushed a chair up to the dining room bookcase...you then dusted all the shelves :) You are so stinking precious.
You both helped Mommy make dinner. You both emptied a can of green beans into the pan :) and then we had a nice dinner of Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans, yum! You two ate most of your dinner, you both were super hungry and actually loved the meal :) After dinner and laundry, Mommy threw you both in the bath. It was lights out for the two of you after baths. You two were exhausted. Mommy was super exhausted too, but I pushed on and gave Ms. Allie and Mr. Arlo a bath. Neither of you awakened by the blow dryer or the vacuum cleaner hee/hee
Nighty night sweet babes and sweet dreams. I'm thinking we need to go do Dianna's at least 5 days a week ha/ha!

Dianna had this in one of her 12 bedrooms for Norah's and Rowan's birthday party. You showed no interest in it Jude man, but between Mommy and your playmates, we got you in it and you LOVED it! |

Flipping flipping flipping :) |
|
Bodhi, you tried this out at the party, but were traumatized by all the kids in it ha/ha Kota threw Norah's Hello Kitty blanket (that you staked claim on) into it and told you to go in and get it. You went in and ended up loving the less chaotic jumping cage thingy ha/ha |
|
That's my girl! We had to throw those pants away ha/ha Mommy let Kota paint your nails and toe nails, and well that didn't go too well! |
|
That's my boy! :) |
|
Super clean Allie :) |
|
Super clean Arlo. Mommy gave Mr. Arlo one of Ms. Allie's pain pills after his bath... he's so old and cranky Mommy thought it would help since I did lose my grip and rack the poor dude getting him out of the tub, boy that's a chore. You know Mr. Arlo is feeling good! :) |
Try using baking soda to scrub the sink with next time Jude does it! Something a little less, um, poisonous, haha. :)
