Terrible Twos-day

Well, today we all got up very early (um, meaning you were up all night, Buddha, keeping Mommy awake and screaming “no” at every inquiry as to what in the world was going onJ), and made a road-trip to Westfield to get Mommy’s car serviced: we got bad news that our car is in need of about $400 in repairsL.

On the way home, we did a quick stop at a nursery and decided we are going to plant a Tulip tree in our front yard. The two of you had had quite enough of our stop-over by the time Mommy got in the car and we hurried home so Mommy could get the two of you over to Aunt Ti’s, and you began to throw a fit, Bodhi. Daddy was able to sidetrack your distress by asking about the circus, and Mommy was able to get going, though when she came home she reported you were a stinker before she left Aunt Ti’s.  Mommy got you, Bodhi, down for a nap before leaving Aunt Ti’s.  Aunt Ti reports that you, Buddha, didn’t take a nap!

Mommy and Daddy spent the remainder of the day working, and at least were pleasantly greeted at home by the construction of our new privacy fence along our alley, by the remarkable business AAA Fence. Later this spring we intend to add more privacy fence along the side of the house.
We were anxiously looking forward to Mommy getting paid, but another day has passed without her check arriving, so we are certainly on a tight, strained budgetL.

When Mommy picked the two of you up to bring you home, Buddha you threw a temper tantrum all the way home!  You did not want to leave your pal, Lizzie.  You screamed Lizzie and “No No Momma,!”  all the way home!

So, given the behavior of the two of you throughout the day, Daddy was tempted to refer to this day as a terrible twos-day, because of the infamous “terrible twos” legend regarding children at your developmental stages having temper tantrums and so forth. But the truth is that on your worst days, the both of you are angels, you both were just worn out by the long day of running around and hurrying to get things resolved.

Actually, it was simply a terrible twos-day because we suffered two bad turns, no Mommy’s check and unexpected car repair expenses to contemplate as we struggle to pay for our fence and electrical work done recently.  Mommy will get us back on track though J

But around here, we count our blessings and choose to be optimists. And we always choose to love our very special Bodhi and Buddha!!!

PS Bodhi, you decided you weren’t going to bed tonight, so while Daddy wrote this blog, we walked Baby Kitty (soon to be renamed because Grandmoo’s Kitty is named Baby Kitty) around the block a couple of times. ;)  She’s so cute how she follows us on our walks.  The neighbors down the road thought it was so neat that we can walk her.

Night, nightJ.

Bo you were not happy when you got poo on your kitty shirt and Aunt Ti had to change you.  You went into melt-down, Aunt Ti almost resulted to drawling a kitty on one of Andrew's t-shirts... but Aunt Ti's quick thinking, she found you an all blue outfit that made you happy. :)  See next picture ha/ha

Lizzie got you into modeling your outfit ha/ha

Andrew had you laughing hysterically after your nap :)

Buddha with a ball... of course!

JuJu with his pal, Lizzie Lou!

See, no need to cry when being dropped off... you always have fun and never want to leave!

JuJu getting ready to do some mowing!

"Well hello Mr. Brock!"

All smiles!

Bodhi, Aunt Ti reports you picked up your cb-thingy and had an entire conversation ha/ha

Mommy will slowly catch up with posting pictures of house updates :)  These are our birdcage sconces in our foyer :)
