Happy Mother’s Day

Today is Mother’s Day so even though Bodhi and Daddy were up very early, we tried to be extra quiet so Mommy could sleep in. When Buddha and Mommy got up, Daddy made a breakfast run to McDonald’s and treated Mommy and Daddy to sausage gravy and biscuit and hash browns breakfast (you got a hash browns too, Buddha, because you are so much like your MommyJ) and oatmeal for Bodhi (who also had requested a scrambled egg) and Buddha.
After breakfast the two of you had a very special treat, Grandmoo came over and picked the two of you up and took you over to see GiGi as a Mother’s Day special treat. You two had a blast! Grandmoo also gave Mommy a beautiful hanging flowering plant. We wished Grandmoo a Happy Mother’s Day and later called GiGi and Grandma Betty (Daddy’s MommyJ) and wished them a special Happy Mother’s Day, too!

When the two of you got home, we went as a family to Menard’s to get the two of you a small swimming pool for the back yard and Mommy was in 7th heaven. She and Grandmoo love projects, and Mommy wanted to work on the outdoor playhouse/baby kitty home as a project today. So, Daddy brought the two of you home for a nap, while Mommy had her way at MenardsJ.

Naptime didn’t go that well for you, Bodhi, so you ended up going with Daddy to Target and Sam’s Club for some diapers and groceries, and Mommy spent the balance of the day outdoors working her project, adding lattice to the perimeter of the Cat House. Late in the afternoon, Sister Kelly and Brother Aaron came by and Grandmoo came over to watch the two of you “swim.” You both were absolutely adorable swimming and playing, Daddy got some good pictures. Sean Franky agreed to come by to help again, and with his help Daddy and Mommy were able to get the playhouse positioned properly and leveled and part of Mommy’s ongoing day project.

Grandmoo took the two of you inside to get you dried off and changed, while Daddy made a spaghetti and meatball dinner for our Mother’s Day celebration. The two of you already are witness to having the best Mommy in the world, and you will only grow in your appreciation and respect and love for her in the years ahead!  Mommy was so happy to hear each of you tell Mommy, “Happy Momma’s Day,” and “I ubbbb ouuuu!”  Bodhi, you said it again when Mommy put you to bed after swinging on the front porch swing.

Daddy worked this week to get some of the projects Mommy wanted completed for our house, and we have a surprise Mother’s Day present coming for Mommy (shhh…it’s a surprise). Daddy wishes he could make every Mommy’s wish come true, she deserves it…this Mother’s Day and always!!!
One thing for sure, there will never be a more special Mother’s Day present than the two of you!!!
Happy, happy, happy Mother’s Day Mommy---you are sincerely the best!!!!!!!!!!!

PS AWWWWW!!  I had a perfect Mother’s Day!!  Thank you Daddy and thank you my special special miracle babes!  Mommy loves you all more than anything!!
