GiGi's & Gi-Pa's, Grandmoo's, and Circus... OH MY!

Today, the two of you got to go visit GiGi and GiPa until Daddy picked you up around 1 p.m. to come home for a nap. You both cried and cried to leave and gave Daddy stress keeping you down for your naps, you kept getting up Bodhi and telling Daddy you were hungry and you got up Buddha and ended up sleeping for about an hour on the couch, after screaming for Mommy for about thirty minutes nonstop---ugggh!

Mommy had to be out of town for work today, and Daddy had a doctor’s appointment and received a shot into my spine nerve through my neck and was scheduled an appointment with a surgeon, Dr. Reilly for June 13th. Uggh again, Daddy is sincerely hurting like the dickens, with a herniated discL.
After the two of you got up (for good) from your nap, Daddy took you out for a walk in the carriage with a special stop-in visit at Grandmoo’s. We arranged for Grandmoo and Mommy to take the two of you to the Kokomo downtown circus tonight at 7:30 p.m.

It is 10:06 p.m. and no sign of any of you back from the circus. Yikes!
Well, we finally made it back from the amazing Kelly & Smith Circus held at Future Park.  It was much more exciting and more of what Mommy imagined a circus would be.  Jude, you clapped and screamed your little heart out when the ladies were swinging and hanging and spinning around ha/ha  Bodhi, you enjoyed the animals.  They had elephants, tigers, dogs (one that looked identical to Mr. Murff, which made Mommy and Grandmoo sad), camels etc… Mommy had a blast, I’m pretty certain you both and Grandmoo did too.

Our circus adventure got off to an ugly start though.  As we were walking up to some empty seats, which is a challenge with you two “little” big people.  Mommy got half way up and was waiting for Grandmoo to make it up and assist us the rest of the way, when a rude older lady snapped at you, Bodhi, for putting your foot right beside her big bum.  You didn’t kick her, you just touched her and she went off.  Oh boy!  Mommy has always had a fire in her, but that fire has grown since having you two.  Mommy looked at the greasy mean lady and said “excuse me?”  She shocked that Mommy said something back to her, then told Mommy “You need to move up there, you can’t sit here.”  OH BOY!  Mommy told her to mind her own business and that I was waiting for help to navigate my two toddlers up to the empty seats safely.  Well, Bodhi, it was crowded, and we were trying to get situated. You again rubbed up against her, not being a mean bratty kid, not on purpose, and the crazy lady snapped again.  Grandmoo was in shock, she wasn’t present for the first snap.  Mommy then snapped!  Mommy told her and Grandmoo if that lady turns around and yells at my babies again, I’m going to knock her upside her head.  The people she was with appeared to be embarrassed, she was obviously nuts.  Mommy should know through work experience, not to allow these people to get to me.  However, you don’t snap at my babies, especially when my babies weren’t doing anything wrong.  You two were very well-behaved, it was just crowded and the lady took up a whole bench.  Grandmoo told Mommy not to knock her out in front of you two ha/ha, needless to say, she didn’t once turn back around.

Anyway, during the intermission, Mommy and Grandmoo took you both to ride the ponies.  Jude, Mommy is so proud of you!  You actually rode one J  Bodhi, you had a smile on your face, and while all the other children were quiet and riding their pony, you were with Grandmoo, and you turned around and yelled, “Hey Momma, look at me!”  Mommy was walking with Jude.  People giggled at you yelling at us.  Jude, the pony in front of us poo’d, and you of course yelled, “Poop!”  Ha/ha, at least you didn’t start gagging.  I think the pony rides were the highlight for you two.  Mommy wanted us all to ride an elephant, but the line was long and you two were tired, Grandmoo’s back was killing her.  So after the show we headed home.  Mommy didn’t knock anyone out :)-

Daddy was worried about us because we took so long to get home.  Mommy loves looking at all the houses, and even window peeping!  Jude, you also window peep, you are hilarious when you do it too.  Mommy loves our neighborhood and the eclectic house styles.  I’m quite surprised at the lack of taste in decorating inside some of the most beautiful homes though.  Mommy wants to re-decorate some of the people’s homes ha/ha   Jude, you stayed awake with your Momma, Bo, you fell asleep.  Mommy made a special stop to check out a really neat church for sale on the corner of Washington and Walnut.  The previous business that resided in the building was the “Book Nook,” it now appears to be a yarn shop.  The upstairs is a personal residence.  If Mommy ever wins the lotto, we are so buying it and Mommy will open up a shop.  Mommy dreams about this church/building and opening up a shop (I won’t share what kind of store, because I don’t want anyone else to steel my idea) ha/ha!

We eventually made it home, as previously mentioned, and you both went right to sleep (thank goodness)!  Jude man, please, please, please stay asleep tonight!!!  Please?  Sweet dreams, sweet circus dreams my sweet babes!!!

GiGi and Gi-Pa apparently took you two to the park :)  Today was such a busy day, Mommy didn't get an update as to what you two did with GiGi and Gi-Pa.

GiGi and Gi-Pa go man to man with you two ha/ha!  GiGi must have lost a bet, because she was assigned to Buddha today :)  You are a handful Juders!

Brother and Sister :)

Mommy met you two and Grandmoo at the circus :)

"Momma!"

Two camels and a zebra... precious!!! Mommy and Grandmoo can't help but to worry about how the animals are treated.

Grandmoo and the Babes :)

Loved the pirate ship filled with dogs!  Mr. Murff on the left :(

Grandmoo and Bo checking out the camels

"Wow!"

Mommy's favorite, aside from the dogs!  Mommy didn't get any pictures of the tigers, Mommy was really into watching the show and forgot to take pictures!

A poodle dressed as a miniature lion :)  This must be a popular theme at circus's these days.

Bodhi and Grandmoo riding "Chip" the pony. :)  Mommy couldn't manage to get a picture of you Buddha and hold on to you while you were riding "Harry."  It's too bad to, you were all smiles!

Mommy's dream! :)

Two very tired babes!
