Desert Hot Day

Today was a desert hot day, and we confirmed that our air conditioner is not functioning!
Mommy had to work in Lafayette, so we enjoyed another adventure day with Daddy. Honestly, Daddy hurts so bad he can barely lift either of you and is worried about his backL! Still, we endeavored to persevere and we went swimming in our back yard first thing today, and of course also took turns on the swingJ.

After swimming, Daddy made the two of you a grilled cheese sandwich lunch but Daddy thinks he ruined your appetites with an apple and shared banana and numerous pickles during the course of the morning. It was so incredibly hot that we all stayed in the living room, and Daddy pulled down all the shades to make it as cool as possible while you tried to nap, but neither of you slept for more than two hours.

After your nap, we again went outside and played for a while and again went swimming. By the time we finished up, Mommy arrived home and Grandpa Kurt came by to visit. The two of you really showed you were hot and tired during dinner and Buddha you threw and absolute temper tantrum complete with banging your head on anything and everything! Bodhi you were fussy too, and you ended up falling asleep on the couch again after Mommy took Buddha upstairs to bed.  Mommy headed over to our old house to mow after you two were settled, and I cleaned up the dishes and settled in with you Bodhi.

Daddy didn't get any pictures, so Mommy took some pictures of the birdcage chandeliers I made... I think I posted them on Facebook, but have yet to include them in your blog... so here they are!

I think they look much cuter in person... also, I could on take them from one view because I didn't want the wall design that I created to show ha/ha!  I don't think it's ever been done before, it's my own creation, so no sneak peaks until it's done.  I don't think it will ever get done.  We are one super busy family even without school!
