Momma's Monday

Our Monday started off pretty typical, despite Daddy being off from school.  We had breakfast, got dressed, and started our day.  We made a run to Menards to return the extra piece of lattice.  Daddy took you two in the car, and Mommy drove Daddy's old beater truck with the piece of lattice.  Mommy loves driving Daddy's old truck.  It shifts really loud and when you shift just right, it gets up and goes in a hurry :)

When we arrived home from Menards, Mommy made grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch, and banana pudding for desert :)-  You two were unusually tired, so Mommy put you both down for a nap, while Daddy slept on the couch himself.  While you two and Daddy napped, Mommy got all her Momma's Day power tool gifts out and went to work on several projects :)  Mommy cut up two long pieces of picket fences and placed them in different areas for flower trellises... using Mommy's new jig saw!  Then Mommy fixed a frame piece of lattice with my new nail/staple gun :)  It will soon be converted into a trellis over our outside dining table :)  Mommy didn't have time to break out my new orbital sander to sand several furniture pieces, but I'll eventually get to it.

Once you two awakened, Mommy and Daddy put you in your swim suits and you two again played in your baby pool.  You two had a blast, and even managed to give Mommy a hand with some projects... handing tools and giving Mr. Arlo a much needed bath :)  Mommy even blow dried Mr. Arlo in the backyard with an extension cord ha/ha  the neighbors were really looking at Mommy funny.  We played outside until 6pm.  When Mommy was stripping you two down to your birthday suits, you, Jude, decided to take a wizzzzzzzzzzz, a very long wizzzzzzz, on our back steps.  Bodhi and Mommy were laughing hysterically.  Bodhi, you were kind of in shock, so Mommy had to grab you off the step below so the overflow didn't get to you ha/ha  Mommy then had to get the hose and hose the pee pee off the steps so we could go inside... all while you two stood naked as two jay birds on the sidewalk.  I'm certain our neighbors were a little disturbed hee/hee

Once inside Mommy quickly got you diapered and started dinner.  Daddy had to work at his Family Service job 5pm-7pm, so dinner making was a challenge as usual.  You two ate dinner with Mommy and then both cuddled with Mommy on the couch waiting for Daddy to get home.  Once Daddy arrived home Mommy went to work for a half hour.  Once I returned, Mommy got you, Buddha to bed.  You didn't need rocked very long, you were happy to get in your crib wide awake :)  Bodhi, you were not ready to go to bed at all.  So, Mommy got your p.j.'s on you and we went back outside.  We played with Baby Kitty, took a swing, and then took three long walks with Baby Kitty.  By the end of the third walk, you wanted Mommy to carry you on my shoulders... ugggh.  Mommy was so tired and could have easily gone to bed at 8:30  p.m. like Daddy, but you were not ready for bed Bo.  After we returned home Mommy poured you some milk and took you to bed.  You are in the bad habit of having to drink a glass of milk at bedtime, after brushing your teeth :(  You and your brother are now in dreamland, and Mommy will be joining you all shortly.  Sweet dreams my sweet sweet babes.  Mommy loves you both so much.  Oh and Juders, today after playing in the pool, you cried for Mommy to pick you up and hold you.  So you soaked Mommy and swung together for a good half hour with you little precious head pressed against my shoulder... I love it!

JuJu, you probably have five different types of worms running through your body... you drink the nastiest water... cat water, dog water, rain puddles, etc... and you always have a sippie filled with water, such a sucker!

Really Mommarazzi?!!

Such a sucker... if you don't break your neck by age two, Mommy will be amazed!

There's my sweet baby boy!!!
