Sweaty Pits and Red Faced

This morning, Ms. Connie showed up at 9:15 a.m., as expected.  Bodhi, she was excited to hear that you now say "Bubba," blue," ball," bowl," "purple," and "bubbles."  Ms. Connie brought play dough today, and you enjoyed squishing it and cutting figures out of it with cookie cutters.  Juders, you decided to chime in on Bodhi's Speech Therapy appointment as well.  You were saying "Da da da da" and "Bo Bo" "Bo Bo."  You even said "Ahhhh wubbbb ouhhhh!"  Ms. Connie was impressed, and recognized that you said "I love you."  Bodhi, you got jealous when Ms. Connie showed Jude some attention, usually we try to soley focus on you.  To regain the attention you used the "boy" cookie cutter and made a boy, then proceeded to chop the boy in half.  Mommy and Ms. Connie got a good laugh from you.  After the Speech Therapy appointment, Mommy packed you both in the stroller and walked  you both to Walgreens to buy Gi-Pa Poncho a belated birthday card (Mommy is such a ditz and forgot his birthday) we also had to pick up Mommy's pictures.  I always think Gi-Pa Poncho's birthday is in October like Gi-Papaw Grills.  Afterwards, we walked to the post office and mailed his card.  Bodhi, you slept about an hour.  Jude you were awake until right before we made it back home.  Neither of you wanted to nap after our walk.  Jude, Mommy did manage to get you to take an hour and a half nap, but you fought it.  Bodhi, you sat in your crib and laughed for an hour.  It felt so good to get back in the air conditioning!  It was so stinkin' hot.  We were all red faced and sweaty.

Bodhi, Mommy felt bad leaving you in your crib, but usually you fall asleep after about a half hour (on days you don't want to nap), so Mommy got you up and fed you lunch.  We then walked upstairs to wake Jude up so we could go to the park.  It was so cute.. Mommy said "lets go get Jude up," and you ran up the stairs and waited for me to open the door.  Once we went into Mommy's and Daddy's room, you looked in the bed (you always see Mommy nursing Jude on the bed, so you assumed that he would be in the bed hee/hee), but he wasn't there.  So you walked over to the bassinet and was looking for him in there.  Mommy was giggling and pointed to the crib right by Mommy's and Daddy's bed.  Bodhi, you smiled.  We then both put our faces right by bubs through the mesh and he woke up smiling and laughing at us.  He was so excited to see us!  We then walked back to Walgreens to see if they would fix the pictures they cropped and messed up and we picked out Daddy Father's Day cards.  We then were off to the park

Bodhi, we were playing with Jude in the rocks when you decided you didn't want to play anymore and started to walk away.  Mommy said "Come here Bo Bo," but you wouldn't listen.  Well, you quickly came back over when another little girl came over to play with Mommy and Jude.  You were not having that!  You sat right on my lap, you were so jealous!  You made Mommy smile, I'm glad that you didn't want anyone playing with your Momma, you are such a stink pot to me sometimes so it's nice to feel wanted hee/hee  Jude, while Bodhi sat on Mommy's lap playing with rocks, you decided to scare some other women at the park (as well as Mommy), they yelled to Mommy, "Oh NO, he's eating rocks."  I knew instantly who they were yelling at!  Mommy turned and you had a stick in your mouth, but no rocks.  Mommy freaked out, yelled, it's ok, it's just a stick.  They then said you had some rocks in your other hand lol.  Mommy had just got done telling you no when you tried to put rocks in your mouth, and each time I told you NO, you took your hand from your mouth.  However, you positioned yourself where you could sneak a taste (I think anyway because you didn't have any in your mouth), and you gave everyone a scare.  You are so sneaky, just like your sister!

When we got back home, Mommy totally exhausted.  I bet we spent about six hours outdoors walking and playing today, Mommy lifted you both from the stroller.  You both had the sweatiest arm pits, and your faces looked sunburned they were so red.  However, you both were shaded and lotioned up, so you both were just red faced from being hot.  Sister Kelly and the Governor stopped by for a few minutes to say hi, and then Mommy threw you both in the bath.  Jude, you want to stand up the whole time you are in the bath.  You try to escape, so your bath was very quick tonight.  However, once I got you out of the bath, you insist on standing at the tub playing with your sister.  I could hardly manage to get you dressed, you fight, kick and scream.  So Mommy let you stand next to the tub,  bare butt, and you played with your sister who was still taking her bath.

Once Daddy came home, Mommy started the grill to make barbecue pork chops, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes.  Jude, you wanted to go to bed, so Mommy took you upstairs and nursed you.  Mommy fell asleep and was awakened by Daddy an hour later.  Daddy had put you, Bodhi, to bed, and then made supper!  Awwww, it was so stinkin' nice not to have to make dinner tonight.  Your Daddy can be so thoughtful sometimes :)

Today, Grandmoo called Mommy and told me that Gi-Papaw Grills is coming next Monday to see you both :)  Yay!!!! Can't wait!
